Bon Ga Ginseng Chicken Soup is so low key and underrated I'm upset it's not more popular. Like this place deserves more recognition. Yeah sure, you might think it's just chicken soup. But have you had really food chicken soup before? Cause this place makes damn good chicken soup. You can keep it simple and get regular chicken soup but you can also get spicy chicken soup and if you want, spicy chicken feet soup. And no, it's not just chicken soup, it comes with refillable rice, rice cakes (for the spicy chicken feet), and all sorts of other delights. Order an individual soup for yourself or get a giant bowl to share with everyone, live your life here in the comfort you deserve. But honestly, if you have not been here before, you have to. There will almost never be a wait because it's still new and unknown, so get some delicious korean chicken soup before people start lining up for it here.

I was feeling sick and ordered from here! This tasted very strong in herbal taste and wasn't my style. But super fast delivery on yelp! It came less than 30 mins which is uncommon.

TLDR; This place is a new, lowkey, authentic korean chicken soup restaurant that serves the COMFORTIEST OF COMFORT FOODS!!! SUCH A GEM!!! I'm almost afraid to write such a raving review for this place because of how lowkey and perfect it is, but I also want the mom and pop business owners to get the recognition they deserve. The menu consists of only a handful of options. They have a few different types of chicken soup, and some other entrees. My sister and I came here on a Saturday night, and it wasn't packed at all. We ordered: CHICKEN FEET (6/5): I'm giving this dish a math defying score. This is served on a hot plate that they bring to your table. The server will mix the dish in front of you. It is more of a stew consisting of chicken feet, dukkbokki, bean sprouts, and onions. The sauce is gochujang-y, VERY similar to the sauce that Sun Nong Dan (next plaza down) serves in their famous Galbi Jjim. The chicken feet are so tender that you can literally eat the bone. It's THAT soft. Dukkboki is fantastic and chewy, and oh my god, that gochujang is just SO GOOD!!!! I would order this in a heartbeat again. It can serve 3+ people. Spicy Chicken Soup (5/5): Soul food with a kick. The soup is delicious and hearty. The chicken is more shredded and mixed with the vegetables, as opposed to having a whole/half chicken plopped in the soup. Herbal Chicken Soup (5/5): This is the perfect soup for a hangover, illness, bubonic plague, cold winter night, you name it. The soup is very light with an herbal aftertaste. You can feel yourself getting healthier with each spoonful. It is as if it spoons a little more life into you with each sip. The chicken comes whole, and is stuffed with sticky rice. It reminded me of the Lo Mai Gai dim sum dish. SO. FREAKING. GOOD! The server lady was incredibly nice. They have photos on the wall to help you differentiate between the types of chicken soup, which is super helpful! The restaurant is clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back. *If you check-in on Yelp, you get 10% off your order! Valet parking $2 in the plaza, as typical Ktown goes.

I Personally don't go out of my way to log in and write a review on Yelp, however, after dining in this restaurant, I had to do it! We were driving on 8th St and found out that a brand new Korean chicken soup place recently opened. My friends and I decided to go on a little adventure, trying out a new restaurant. As we walked in, a server greeted us with a big smile and I already had a feeling that I'd love this place. We ordered spicy braised chicken, serves with numerous different side dishes that perfectly ease out the spiciness. Our food took a bit longer than we expected, however, it was also a sign that they use fresh ingredients every single time to make the food, (not pre-cooked and heating up again). Chicken was perfectly seasoned and succulent, not too spicy and not too sweet. Overall experience, I will definitely go back!

Dropped by here randomly in search of samgyetang on a rainy day. We came a little after regular lunch hours so it was very quiet, only one other table occupied. We actually ended up ordering the spicy chicken soup and the seafood pancake, and they were both excellent! The soup was very savory with a good mix of vegetables, meat and noodles inside. The seafood pancake was perfectly cooked and delicious! Service was prompt and very attentive. We'd definitely come back here.
