First time trying Korean hotpot and I couldn’t be happier!!! This was a really nice meal! The waitress was so nice and the vibes in the restaurant were spectacular! We went to Koreatown wanting to experience the Korean cuisine and I think this was the perfect choice, I believe this restaurant would be the ideal choice for that also for celebrating special occasions such as birthdays or graduations..

I came to Ban Shabu as a first-timer and honestly didn’t know what to expect—but it ended up being delicious! At first, I accidentally ordered a broth that was a bit too spicy for me, but the staff was super accommodating and happily switched it to a non-spicy option. After that, my experience was awesome.
I love that they have so many different items you can add to your hot pot—it’s insane! Everything from shrimp, octopus, and crab to imitation crab meat, shrimp balls, and salmon balls. They even have hot foods like fried rice and dumplings on the side, plus fresh veggies like cabbage, onions, and cilantro. The meat quality was excellent—tender, flavorful, and perfectly sliced. My absolute favorite was the pork belly—so good!
If you’re looking for a spot with great service, quality ingredients, and a fun, interactive dining experience, Ban Shabu is definitely worth checking out!

I went home soo full omg, I’d go back with a few friends and family, they had so many options for sides veges and meats/seafood, rice and noodles. They do charge you for any food that’s left over and you can’t take any home so make sure you go to the restaurant in time before closing which is by 9:30 pm. Everything tasted sooo good including the soup and sauces you can use too cook your food in. Definitely recommend going with someone I went for my birthday and I got my meal comped. They also have desert options that are in the all you can eat option. The space is also really aesthetically pleasing.

I went there right when they opened, at 11:30. The male employee was really disgruntled and acted like he didn't want to work. The food was fresh and delicious, and I paid 1.99 for parking. The employee was so rude that I don't want to go back. They didn't even clear the table, so I had to keep reusing the plates I had used.

Clean place, solid service, great meat, terrible seafood and baby corn. Had the wagyu discounted special which was a great deal.

Pretty reliable spot for hot pot in K-town. It's AYCE meats and there’s a big buffet with seafood, veggies, noodles, prepared hot dishes, and even dessert. The Wagyu Chuck Tender and Prime Beef Belly were probably my faves. I also enjoyed the unlimited crab and shrimp even made a seafood ramen at the end. The hot dishes and desserts at the buffet bar were surprisingly very solid. The place is not overly fancy and the space is huge. Overall a good casual spot for hot pot with a large group.

Bon Shabu in LA’s Koreatown is a gem for shabu shabu lovers! The all-you-can-eat setup is a steal, especially if you’re craving high-quality meats like prime and wagyu. The salad bar is a standout, with tasty snacks like orange chicken and tteokbokki that add a fun twist to the meal. They’ve got a great variety of broths—Huo Guo, beef bone, sukiyaki, spicy, tomato, and veggie—so there’s something for everyone. The fresh seafood and side dishes at the hot bar are also a big plus. I tried booking for a group, but it was already packed, so plan ahead and make a reservation! If you’re a Wilfit member, you’ll score a 10% discount, which is a nice perk. Can’t wait to go back for more!
