Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon, sometime between lunch & dinner. Seated right away. Service was friendly but definitely slow. Also, their menus reflect cash prices so if you pay with a card they charge you more. Just pay your employees a livable wage???? Had the half lemon herb chicken - huge portion. The sides that came with the dish were wonderful, chicken was flavorful but also a bit difficult to eat. Inside & outside seating available, restroom was clean. There were quite a bit of flies hanging around inside the dining room. With all my complaints, the food was solid.

Lovely sit down place with a nice outdoor and indoor set up. The wine and cheese is good for the average wine drinker. I love their chai latte-Oregon train mix flavor. The burgers are huge and filling. The service can vary depending on how busy it is.

Love this place. We don’t live in the area but used to come around 5 or so years ago. Came back last week to eat lunch and they haven’t skipped a beat! I’ll be in the area a few times over next month so I can’t wait to get back!

Five stars for atmosphere, decor, service. Four stars for food and three stars for drink. Ordered crab benedict ($22) and was expecting lump crab meat, but got crabcake instead. While it was tasty and had a nice hollandaise sauce, would recommend a slight tweak to the menu description to mention that it is a crabcake benedict vs crab benedict. Breakfast potatoes were slighly undercooked for my taste. Bloody mary mix was way too vinegary/tart/slightly bitter. Could not finish 2/3 of it. Would definitely recommend and return...just would not get the bloody mary and would try a different benedict.

Cool indoor/outdoor ambiance. Great food! Loved the chicken papardalle and salmon avocado toast. Server was perfect, and she looked just like Jennifer Lawrence

Went to Bon Vivant tonight knowing that it's overpriced. However, the service was very poor. We had food and then had to wait 5 minutes for utensils. Everything we asked for we had to ask twice. The kicker was when we got on our bill and on top of the regular tax we got charged extra tax for the alcohol and and extra 3% for using a credit card. I will no longer patronize this place. These extra charges are ridiculous and out of control.

Such a great breakfast spot with awesome seating. The service is always really good and definitely is worth checking out if you're in the Atwater Village area.

We won't come back to eat here even though we have enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Unfortunately the place smells very strongly of Fabuloso cleaning fluid and it is unbearable .. it is too difficult to enjoy a meal with such an overpowering disinfectant smell!

For starters, I had the fried calamari, which was a good sized portion and the garlic chipotle aioli sauce just set it off! Perfect sauce to match! The white sangria had a smooth, refreshing taste that was not too sweet and accentuated the fruits in it. Side note, I've always been a sucker for chicken pot pie and Bon Vivant's definitely did not disappoint. I liked the balance of chicken, carrots and potatoes, which arrived hot and savory. The broth tasted so good on the puff pastry crust (croissant). This also came with a nice crispy bread to dip in the skillet. Lastly, I must say that the ingredients included in the Au Original make it a gourmet burger. This was my 3rd time ordering that at Bon Vivant and it Never Disappoints! As always, the ambiance at Bon Vivant is ideal for a bday dinner vibe and everyone was able to enjoy sharing food across our spacious tables. Waiter was attentive and amiable. Lastly, Props to the music playlist because I had to Shazam several tracks during dinner.

Me and my bfs sister and cousins came across the cafe when we were walking around looking for a place to dine and watch the last game before football playoffs. The cafe caught our attention because of the ambience of the farm style and barn futures and they were showing the game on TV as well ‍ . The service was a little slow, but we didn't mind since our attention was to the game and our conversations. We just wished they would've lowered the music, up'd the TV a little more to a level where we can talk in hear each other and hear the TV, because we were having a hard time listening to each other with the loud music. The food was great. I truly believe all of us enjoyed it. The oven baked Brie cheese was so f*%king good ‍ Just make sure to get there early because they stop serving it at a certain time. Sorry I didn't take a picture. The appetizers and my entrée the chicken pot pie were amazing and overall just the place itself was very good. We will most likely go back again.
