Ive been coming to Bonjuk for almost a decade and have followed them from their location on Wilshire, then Western and now at 6th! Their porridge quality is TOP TIER and I love getting it on rainy days, in the winter, when Im feeling sick etc. I always feel soo much better after eating it, its so hearty and healthy and I love that it comes with the sides (radish soup, beef, sauce etc). My favorites are the seafood, salmon with veggies, veggies etc. Cant recommend the flavor and quality enough! Ill often call to order and its always ready in less than 10 minutes

Price has hiked up like crazy but quality is horrible. I ordered kimchi octopus porridge and only kimchi I find is the ends and barely any octopus. Its $25 of just rice. So disappointed and this is absolutely unacceptable.

A place to eat when you're sick... In the past, if you asked me to share it with you, I would give it to you. Now, maybe it's because of the cost of the container, but they don't split it into two. I can't even eat it all. Anyway, it's best when you're sick or have no appetite.

Delicious and comforting! BokJuk LA serves rich, flavorful porridge with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. The kimchi and sides were amazing, and the service was friendly. A must-try for Korean comfort food lovers!

I enjoyed eating juk here because it was warm and comforting. I think the price is much, but California living I guess. I recommend getting the shrimp juk because it comes out HOT and flavorful. The shrimp portion is just right because you want to eat a spoonful of juk and a piece of shrimp on the top!

I love 본죽 but I've gotten food poisoning twice from this location. I thought that it was strange that the shrimp in my porridge was unusually cold.

PROS:- Excellent food: Chicken porridge with oriental ingredients and the seafood porridge tasted so good! After eating them, I felt satisfied and healthy. The portions were huge! It came with delicious side dishes as well that complimented the porridge- Wait time: We received our food in a reasonable amount of time (about 10 minutes).- Ambiance: It was in a food court, but it was very clean! The seats and tables for Bonjuk were quite nice.NO CONS!Would I come here again? YES

It was just so good! I loved the side dishes that goes with the porridge. Defintly coming here again! The portions were huge too so you are getting your price worth.
