Boo's Silverlake and Ktown locations delivers consistency and a well-made cheese steak.

So take this review as one that applies to both locations. Their cheesesteaks are almost equal to the ones I would get back home on the East Coast.

I have tried and tried many places that offered me a cheesesteak but always left me desiring. Whether it is the bread that's wrong or the quality of meat, or the lack of customization options such as having mayonnaise spread evenly instead of the customer having to splat mayo on top of the meat.

Boo's delivers quality, consistency, and a product that is worth the cost. The two locations are just mere miles apart from each other so have your pick.

I drive all the way to Boo's Philly Cheesesteak from Pacoima during rush hour traffic. A two hour drive for cheesesteaks sounds crazy on paper but in truth I would drive days just to fulfill my Northeastern Coast stomachs' desire.

Visit them and experience the taste the delicacy of Northeastern United States!

The best place to get a Philly Cheesesteak in Los Angeles. The cheese wiz is so bomb or the classic provolone! Steak is super fresh. Chicken subs are also really good. Owner is the man! Family place from New Jersey. Got to stop by!

Sandwich came on time by Uber eats, but the sandwich was soggy so when I called the Silverlake location, The Man had excuses oh well it’s like that that’s how it comes out so I explain to him. My sandwich has never been soggy before he had attitude got in his feelings and hung up, so, what does that say about customer service and professionalism poor poor poor poor

Still a great tasting Cheese steak sandwich. If you don't want ALL the cheesewiz to stick on the paper they wrap it in, order it with the "wiz" under the meat. The ordering is automated so you have to tell the clerk before they start making the sandwich.

A decent cheesesteak. Nothing bad, but nothing special about it. Could have had more meat in there for the price I paid.

They make a proper cheesesteak with the whiz! You can order other cheese if you're a coward, though.

2 star because it's still a cheesesteak and it's pretty hard to be bad. With that said, $22 for a sandwich, fries and a drink is steep if the sandwich doesn't stand out. I'd rather pay more and have a sandwich that I remember and want to come back for than this plain Jane no thrills, no flavor, low meat, low cheese take on a Philly. The bread was the most abundant ingredient. The meat is thin, sparse and chopped up into tiny pieces. The basic small fries are $5.50 lol. Anyways, like I said, I wish I had a reason to go back but I don't. Would be surprised if you are reading this review and they are still open in summer of 2025.
