Truly incredible. I found out about this place from the LA food podcast, and it really delivered. It looks like a hole in the wall, but you walk in and are greeted by music and delicious smells. The staff are very attentive and nice and our pizza was warmed up quickly. It was fun being there, we got to see the pizza getting made and someone shaking bread and pesto in a bucket. The actual pizza was delicious. Even the cheese pizza was so so flavourful and had such a good texture. Definitely will be coming back!

Really good pizza. They have slices until 3pm I believe and this place doesn’t disappoint if you’re craving quality pizza. Fresh ingredients and good flavor combos. Def in my top 3 pizza places in LA.

The pizza here is very, very good for LA (though the general level has improved vastly in 40+ years of living here). The dough is flavorful, and you can tell that the sauce and cheese are made from quality ingredients. Just keep in mind that this is a very small place, and on weekends they get super overwhelmed. That’s understandable, but it would be great if the pick up time they give you when you order a pizza reflected the actual time the pizza will be ready. I’ve ordered here many times, and it’s often a extra 20-30 minute wait after the listed pickup time. Will it stop me from ordering there again? So far no. But it’s super annoying.

Crazy Detroit style (?) my friend ordered and I got to try a bite. Dense, flavorful, satisfying. A ton of meat. 40 for a single pizza kind of crazy though.

Best deep-dish pizza in LA, hands down. Top-quality ingredients (Slow-fermented sourdough, San Marzano tomatoes, whole milk mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, Ezzo pepperoni that chars into dreamy cups of delicious pepperoni grease…mmm, etc). The owners Kyle and Courtney have excellent palates, and their pizza creations are insanely delicious with artfully balanced fat/acid/salt. Our family pizza night go-to is a Cheese Louise and a Pepperoni/sausage with extra cheese… and I call dibs on the crispy corner pieces! The seasonal menu additions are fabulous: the Peach Princess has creamy goat cheese, juicy peaches, basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic to balance everything out. Delish. The Don Piccante is my latest obsession with its chorizo, red onions, blistered tomatillos and pickled jalapeños (side of Tums are my own, but so so worth it). And the deep dish chocolate chip cookie with a sprinkling of Maldon salt on top? Run, don’t walk to get you some!

One hundred percent the best pizza on the west side. Orders can take quite a bit to get on a busy Friday, or Saturday. Prices are fair for the quality of pizza you're getting. Slices are easy to get each day from 12:00 - 3:00pm, and cheap!
The atmosphere is the only thing that is hard, as there is little to no space inside their shop, and two small tables out front of the store. Best as a place to eat a quick slice outside, or to take home a full pizza.

If you have a sensitive gut, this pizza is legit. Truly naturally leavened and the ingredients are fresh. Nice crisp around the edges. Thought I would eat a couple bites and save the rest for later but I couldn’t stop myself it was so good!!

I’m an east coast pizza snob, and this place nails it! I love both their Detroit style and round pizza. I typically go for plain cheese for my pizza fix, but the good green and hot jimmy are incredible. Also highly recommend the meatballs!
