Botanica is where seasonal California produce meets global inspiration in the most delicious way possible. This isn’t just a restaurant — it feels like a wellness sanctuary with food as its language.
The menu is vibrant, produce-forward, and always evolving. Their mezze spreads are a must — bursting with fresh herbs, spice, and texture. The lamb meatballs and shakshuka are perfectly seasoned and deeply satisfying. But the unexpected star? Their vegetable sides. Botanica has the rare ability to make a simple beet or squash feel luxurious.
The drinks are just as thoughtful. The wine list leans natural and biodynamic, with plenty of great picks by the glass. And don’t skip the non-alcoholic options — the house-made tonics and juices are surprisingly addictive.
The ambiance is light and airy, with an indoor-outdoor feel that fits Silver Lake perfectly. You’ll likely find writers with laptops in the morning and couples sharing rosé by sunset.
Bonus: Their little market sells a curated selection of sauces, wines, pantry goods, and local finds — perfect if you want to bring a bit of Botanica home with you.
This is the kind of place that feeds you well and makes you feel even better.

100/100 stars - this place was sort of divinely sent. I was looking for a place for my mom to enjoy on her trip from Mexico - she’s a good conosiur of good food and what not. I of coarse working at the farmers market have an acquired sence for quality farm to table yummies. I knew my mom liked lamb and the yogurt that accompanies Mediterranean dishes. I knew the company liked burgers and I myself love all things raw - so the snaks were a good call - along side the mushrooms rice which was top quality - mushrooms from fungivalley* that sauce was juts as hit the spot Mexican as it could get mixed with hints lime and a dash of worldwide inspiration. the heirloom bean hummus was their oldest dish too good to waste a smear . Their Japanese sweet potatoes were divine and their drinks inspired a night full of delicious conversation and felt so good knowing it was made with some good love. I loved Devin our server very conscious and in tune with our needs . The behind the bar scene serene and atunned also - the ambiance is so LA ! People wear casual clothing and dine at a top level all conscious foodie experience.

We had dinner here last night and everything was delicious!😋 It was made even more special by a visit from Chef Sergio!! We tried almost all the starters because we just couldn't decide 😆
Our daughter loved the roasted porkchop, my husband loved his tuna and the rest of us had the perfectly roasted chicken...the cocktails, dessert and service were all amazing. Great experience. Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff for a seamless delightful evening. 😊

Had a fantastic meal. The Baja Kanpachi and the the Baja striped bass were Michelin star quality. The mushrooms and brown rice was also exceptional. Very interesting organic and biodynamic wine selection.

Pretty, little Mediterranean-influenced dishes in the back of a coffee shop/dry goods place. Inside is nice, but the outside seating in back is filled with pretty plants. We had brunch... this is perfect if you're sick of the burrito-sandwich-pancakes rigmarole of every other brunch. Their dishes are a little more esoteric with bright, colorful ingredients that were unexpected and tasty.

The food is great and the atmosphere is lovely but BEWARE! If they ask you if you want ketchup or hot sauce say “no” unless you want to pay an extra $5! Also, if they ask you if you want a “coffee refill” also be prepared to basically pay for another coffee. There were so many hidden charges, it really soured the whole experience.

It is rare that I enjoy a meal as much as I did at Botanica. The staff were all engaging and smiling and genuinely enjoying themselves, while still providing stellar service. The diversity of the staff was excellent across spectrum with race, gender, tattoos, etc. As a direct result, we felt fully welcomed and the food was absolutely delicious to boot!

Every single dish was delicious even the bread. The service was friendly and relaxed and the atmosphere was romantic but chilled. The quality of the products was top notch - especially the fish and mussels which were cooked to perfection. Even the cocktails were great. We’ll be back soon!
