FANTASTIC! Amazing, fresh, creative vegetarian choices. The couscous will last you several meals and is so buttery. The beets, broccoli, and lentil soup were all 10/10. Plus the service us excellent and the vibe is perfectly cozy. A little hidden wonder!

I think it is really a shame that certain restaurants find these gimmicks to overcharge customers.
Have some decency. Customer shouldn't be charged an 18% fee on top, for 'revenue that is not segmented' (what does that even mean?). You might as well increase the prices of your dishes by 18% instead of slapping your customers with this nonsense at the end of the meal.

Bowery Bungalow never disappoints! The menu takes an innovative approach to traditional favorites like gnocchi, ribs, babaganoush, and hummus, and the outdoor patio is beautifully quaint and charming.

From the moment I walked in everyone was extremely kind. Our server was top notch with a fun personality and great recommendations. It’s a little tough if you’re not a meat eater, but the branzino was outstanding as was the cauliflower. They only serve wine and beer, and their white wines are nice. Definitely going back!

One of the more unique restaurants I’ve been to, and certainly worth that trip. Try the shishkatori, bring a friend, a lover, or go solo and chat it up with the bartender. Wonderful gem of a restaurant I hesitated to review because I don’t want it to get too busy. You simply must try it.

I love the food here however unfortunately I had a bad experience during my husband's birthday with the service. I called in advance to let them know that we will be coming in for his birthday. I requested they put a candle in one of their Konafeh desserts on the menu since it is one of my husband's favorite desserts of all time. When we arrived the server was not aware of the request. They also sold out of the konafeh I had requested since they gave all of it to the large party sitting next to us. The server instead brought out a empty plate with a candle on it. It was pretty sad. Also I was pregnant at the time. Pretty terrible experience. So unfortunate since the food was so good. I don't think I will be coming back.

Bowery Bungalow is hands down one of my favorite Middle Eastern restaurants in LA. Tons of vegetarian options like the Couscous Royale, which could feed multiple people, and the Roast Beets which are phenomenal. Other highlights are the Babaganoush which comes with roasted Shishito peppers, and of course the Fried Cauliflower which is cooked with Tahini. As for meat dishes, the Lamb Shank is an absolute must and my favorite dish on the menu. It easily feeds 2, and comes in a truly delectable mildly spicy broth. The Beef Tongue Shawarma Gnocchi is a close runner up.

Service is always excellent, you never feel rushed. And the outdoor patio seating is an amazing spot for a date night. No hard liquor, but a solid wine list is available. Parking is tricky in this area, however, so budget some time when making your way here. Can't wait to visit again!

The atmosphere is super cute. Great service. The food was just very mid. Middle Eastern food is great because of its simplicity. This place made it very LA and threw Mexican into it and just wasn't a fan. Sorry.

If you want real middle eastern (not like Bavel), come here. Delicious, experimental, with a warm atmosphere. And big portions, so you get your money’s worth. Try the hanger steak, kofta mole, baba ganoush, and rice pudding for dessert.

Excellent food. Killer service. Highly annoyed when trying to pay as they do not take cash. What about all the folks in this city that get paid in cash? Yall not worried about serving them? Anyways, like I said, everything was great other than that. Will not be returning as I do my best to avoid the “no-cash” spots. Hope y’all get off that bandwagon.

Listen to me! There is nooooo reason why All Time is poppin 24/7 and this place isn't. I'm probably going to regret saying this as I work my way out of getting an easy reservation, but if you're sleeping on this place it's a mistake! The food is soooo good and fresh and unique! Never in my life have I had something like the flavor profile of the tahini toast. Everything we had was so yummy and for me a huge bonus was the generosity of herbs on every plate. The ambiance in the garden is so good and of course the wait staff was so wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Bowery Bungalow is in my list of Top 5 Restaurants in LA. We've tried most the menu and haven't found anything that we wouldn't order again. My personal favorite are the harissa potatoes, I dream about them from time to time. The staff are always friendly and knowledgable and the atmosphere is good for a date, a group celebration, or just a nice dinner.
