Was staying at Ace hotel next door when attending a concert. Wanted to get a bite prior to the show. 2 restaurants in the hotel jammed, and no reservations. This Mexican restaurant is next door, so I got a couple of tacos to get me through the concert. They were so good, I went back after the concert and had more. The Asada were incredible. This is the real deal. Not a fancy sit down place. Get your food and enjoy it.
I've been to this little street-side grill a few times and love it. Very tasty, authentic Mexican tacos. Apparently it's been around since 1975, so it has staying power. It's particularly popular with the locals. It's a block away from the Orpheum Theater in downtown L.A.
