Love their Madeleines!
I am a guy who like simple desserts. However, just found this place by accident. All the pastries here were amazing. I went there yesterday and I am going again. Super quality. Only problem is parking…😂
Can’t stop eating them!
Honestly, I didn’t expect them to be this good. Each cookie has its own vibe — some nutty, some soft and buttery, all super fresh. And the spot where I got them? Super clean and neat, which I really appreciate. You can tell they put love into everything. I’ve already recommended them to a couple friends!
These cookies are amazing!
Every single one is soft, buttery, and full of flavor. Some have nuts, some are a little chewy inside — all of them are super tasty. Perfect with a cup of coffee (like in the pic)! They’re not too sweet, just right. You can tell they’re made with care. I’d totally get these again — great for sharing or just enjoying on your own.
Love their canele and financier. Gorgonzola honey financier is to die for!! I can eat them everyday. Their classic and earl grey caneles are 🤌🏼💋
It’s very delicious
Sooo yummy! The best earl gray and lemon madeleines I’ve ever had! Other bake goods were really good too :) Will definitely come back soon
Hands down the best canelès I've ever had. They are perfectly delectable we tried all of the flavors and they were all on point. My only regret is that we didn't buy more to bring home to San Diego. I will definitely make the trek back someday soon.
The place was a bit hard to find for me. Turns out it's located in a plaza with many other restaurants. I entered through the back door.
I like their black sesame financier, and the canele thing with cream inside I got wasn't bad but it wasn't as good compared to the former.
BTW, there are no spaces to sit down and eat, so it's really a place for grabbing and going.
I'd come back!
This cafe feels like home that drink though was so good the REAL strawberry milk and on top of that one of the staff members were amazing it was like if I knew them for so long talking about (shirley)
Restaurantji Recommends
the blueberry scone is SO GOOD
it’s perfectly balanced when it comes to its fluffiness & richness. it’s slight crumbly texture with the cream cheese and blueberries makes it so memorable! i highly recommend the blueberry scone and strawberry matcha latte (o^^o)
This is truly my dream bakery especially as someone who’s Asian and find most baking goods to be too sweet. This is one of those places you want it to go viral bc it’s amazing but also lowkey want to gate keep it lol. I would literally drive 35min from Pasadena to get their pastries. My favs so far are the milk cream scone and Madeline. The canele is top notch too!
Some were better than others, but overall pretty tasty!
If you're on the hunt for the best bakery in LA, look no further than Brown Bag Cookies! Perfect for indulging yourself, spreading joy with friends, or creating cherished family moments, their European-inspired treats hit all the right notes. Every bite is a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor. Personally, I can't get enough of their canelés and buttermilk cream scone – absolutely divine! If you haven’t visited yet, you’re truly missing out. This place is a haven for pastry lovers!
