First try eating Bruxie and I tell ya Bru it's a X for me one of those X's you won't definitely go back to. The coleslaw was hot and soggy, had like a old mayo cabbage hot wet six taste to it. The chicken was hard like an brick and the waffle just waffle.
Ohh I heard not getting the Mac and cheese either..... Bye🤚🏿

The food tasted so rancid and gross. Tater tots were okay.. sweet tea was bomb tho that was pretty much the only highlight of my meal smh would not come back here.

The food was not fresh. I got a grilled chicken. You can tell chicken was either warmed up or made earlier in the day. Food acceptable. For 40 dollars worth of food I wish it would be fresh.

WHY do we not have a Bruxie in Tampa, FL??? It is amazing! We loved the food and the service. Jessica made our visit on May 21 and 22 memorable. She was considerate, friendly, and efficient.

On our first visit, we were so glad that there were plenty of tables and chairs for us to sit and enjoy our meal. It was clean, and inviting. Our order was taken by the friendly cashier, and while we were eating, Jessica came over to our table & asked if we were enjoying our meals and wanted anything else. We raved about our Chicken BLTs on waffles and the awesome coleslaw. Husband raved about his chicken strips and fries. She insisted we try a dessert, so we ordered the strawberry cheesecake waffle. She posed with it before giving it to us. My mouth was in heaven after finishing it. So good!!

The second day, we stayed with the tried and true Chicken BLT & chicken strips. Service was excellent as was our food. Once again Jessica was present and attentive. In fact, all employees were friendly and efficient, but Jessica stood out.

We hope to be back every time we’re in the Southern California College area. Maybe we can convince our niece to go there for college!!

Can't go wrong with some chicken & waffles. This place is worth it & if you love some fried chicken, come on through & treat yourself to some mouth-watering deliciousness. Thank you for this place.

I met up with a friend for lunch at Bruxie and I got the original chicken sandwich for the sake of trying the front-page offering. The chicken was super crispy and not dry at all. The butter and syrup situation on top paired very well with the chicken which had a little kick here and there. The waffle was originally crisp but it got a bit soggy by the end for sure and it’s definitely not a traditional Belgian waffle, but I really enjoyed it when paired with the chicken. The slaw was just okay; not particularly memorable or flavorful, especially in comparison to the other elements.

There’s a couple of tables inside and a lot of people like to eat in the Village when the weather is nice! Their takeout game is serviceable — the containers and bags are well-packaged, but the food won’t survive long and should be eating fresh. Their menu is quite extensive and I had a bit of decision paralysis at first. I’d love to come back and try some more items!

Chicken and waffles are an excellent combo but only so long as there’s no char nor even a hinted of burnt flavor. Alas, distractions abound and both components are sensitive to time with a span of scant seconds for perfection.
Less begets problems too, though only the former issue have I encountered.
Hard and crisp, the well-done or near-burnt waffle proves to be a mouthful of nails as mastication becomes lacerations. Half a minute less cook time would’ve been perfect which tells me the cooks are distracted (not a busy day but certainly early enough for a beleaguered student to half-bake or in the case double-cook the food. I will retry another day when I’ve forgotten about the wounded mouth and think only of the potential for greatness in sure Chicken & Waffles represents. Improving the cookery would improve the other facets of this review. It was an awfully off day.
I must say that I am impressed by the flavor and that you’re provided with an individual sized maple syrup to dip or coat your own way.
Wish the waffle wasn’t burnt or I so hungry and rushed for time to reorder/recook. Next time.

This place not good for what they advertise. Menu prices are high in prices. Than other places where u can get better affordable price and more amount of food. The chicken is so salty at this place. I’ve ordered three times from this place and the chicken continues to be so salty and really greasy. It hasn’t improved. Amount of portions so small for what the price is. Milkshakes aren’t even filled to the cup its more whipped cream filled into the cup than the actual liquid being poured. You can see the employees not filling everything and just discards the liquid.
