STAY AWAY
The food was way over priced and service was lacking in the nicest way to describe it. Pretty sure a 5 year old could have cooked better food. Then an automatic 18% gratuity??? Seriously. I wish I would have read reviews prior to walking in would have saved me some aggravation.
Not worth the stop.

Updated menu prices as of October 2024.

I don’t expect much from airport food but definitely for something that was maybe $20+ each dish, I was expecting more than what I was given. I ordered the chili cheese fries and tres enchiladas with beef. Tastes are subjective but truly I could not get more than half of one of my tres enchiladas before just picking out the protein of it. The chili cheese fries were fine but it felt like there was maybe 4 heaping tablespoons of chili amongst the entire set of fries. Service was fine and good. I got my water within 5 minutes of seating and she followed up with refills. For a total two dish meal price including gratuity of around $50+, just Uber eats yourself something.

Service is great. The food is exactly what you expect at LAX. Just ok... the menu prices are high too, because you're at the airport.

Food was decent but way over priced as well as the drinks. Service was okay but I had to flag the bartender over anytime I wanted anything. 18% included gratuity is more than enough and I know it’s an airport but they could have done better.

Should have checked the reviews first. There's the hint. I had time for a quick bite before a flight, but after sitting at the bar, waiting 10 minutes to even order, then another 25 whilst people either side got served....it was time to go.

And to top it off....

I was happy to settle for the orange juice I had, but the bartender decided to charge me for the meal that was ordered....but never came. His response " food takes 15 minutes because it's cooked to order". Well mate, those either side ordered AFTER me and 25 minutes is probably too much.

Very very disappointing.

Like most airport food, this spot looked better than it tasted. When I first arrived, I wasn’t particularly focused on grabbing a meal—I was really just searching for a quiet place to sit down and charge my phone. However, as I looked around and saw what others were ordering, the dishes looked pretty appetizing, so I figured I’d give it a shot.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the visual appeal. The fries, for example, were not seasoned nearly as much as I would have liked, leaving them bland and forgettable. The rest of the meal was decent but nothing special—just your typical airport fare that’s more about convenience than quality. It wasn’t awful, but definitely not something I’d recommend or go out of my way to try again.

The atmosphere was fairly busy, which I expected for an airport restaurant, and the service was decent. The waiter was polite and attentive, but there was nothing particularly memorable or outstanding about the experience.

All in all, it was one of those meals you have just because you're there, but not one I’d care to repeat. It wasn’t terrible, but for the time and effort I put into sitting down and ordering, it didn’t feel worth it. In the future, I think I’d stick to grabbing a quick snack instead. If you're just looking for a place to rest and recharge like I was, it’s fine, but don’t expect much in terms of flavor.

Coffee tasted like ass. Hash browns are the artificial kind from freezer. Fancy tomato ketchup and whiskey are the only saving graces here

Was just visiting Barney's Beanery. Paid my $88 bill for 2 sandwiches and 2 beers and 1 water with my coworker. Paid my bill and started to leave for my flight, got to exit and realized my coworker was still inside. Went back inside and Jordan Love was hurt on TV.

I stood there for about 30 seconds when the manager I guess said " this is not a viewing bar" I explained I just paid and stood up and pointed at my chair. I said I'd leave and not come back. Bartender shrugged with whatever.

I know u don't care if I come back but eventually if u hire the wrong people enough customers may post enough reports of disrespect that it may justifiably move the needle enough for u to care.

Beer is beer , food is food. People come to your establishment for service and comradery. NEVER GONNA GET THERE WITH THIS CREW.
