*Food has MOLD, eat at your own risk*
I used to come here regularly, my girlfriend loved the food here; the filipino spaghetti was authentic and actually tasted like it was from the philippines, unlike other places. Unfortunately, there was mold in the spagghetti on three seperate occasions (one on February 4, 2022, another on February 22, 2022) leading me to going to other places for breakfast.
My girlfriend missed the spagghetti, so eventually we came back and I had to check all of my orders for mold. Now, within a few months, the employees, although kind, give me the incorrect sauce (ketchup) instead of the sweet chili (customary for fishballs). Sometimes I am not given suka (vinegar) with the orders of tapa and longonisa and dont find out till I get home after picking up after work. I called to complain, no results. I came the next time, complained in person and brought up the mold, and then an employee told me that I have to "check the order before I go [for the sauce]".
****Instead of Bulacan Bakeshop, I recommend going to Bagnet Restaurant in Glendale, which is less than 10 minutes away. Their ulam/entrees are also great and their service is much better. Bagnet has better Bangus and Tocino, and they usually offer coffee while you wait, and unlimited melon for dine ins (you have to buy one order of melon, less than $4).

Bulacan Bakeshop & Catering, located in Eagle Rock, is a cozy spot known for its delectable Filipino treats. The ube hopia is a must-try, with a unique pie crust-like shell and a generous, flavorful ube filling. The mung bean hopia offers a nuttier experience, though the empanadas may fall short on filling. The friendly family-run establishment offers reasonable prices and a homey atmosphere, making it a favorite for quick comfort breakfasts. The warm service adds to the inviting vibe, with the owner accommodating guests even near closing time. The small space is filled with love and Filipino culture, evident from the family photos on the walls. Regulars appreciate the owner's recommendations for trying new dishes, like the jefroxsilog and dinuguan. With a goal to try everything on the menu at least twice, customers keep coming back for the delicious food and welcoming ambiance at Bulacan Bakeshop & Catering.
