The food was fine, the kimchi jigae was bland, and the intestines are not the best ones in LA but acceptable. Right when we walked in, the server asked if we’re on a vacation and we said yes because 2 out of 4 people traveled to LA from a different country. Little did we know, this answer helped her think we do not know anything about US tipping culture. We finished the meal and didn’t like the server’s attitude so we tipped 15%. The server took the bill, pointed into the tip amount, and asked us to clarify the tip amount. We said out loud the amount again to make sure with her we didn’t write the wrong number, she then went behind the counter for a bit and came out to ask for us to tip either 18%, 20%, or 22%. We let her know that we appreciated the service but we didn’t enjoy the experience fully so it was not our obligation to tip at least 18%. We left tipping 18% as she constantly ignored our words and told us not to care about the matter too much but will never come back here again.

If there was a O for service that would be my score. My family of 5 walked in to this restaurant since the BBQ place beside them was closed. The server didn't even acknowledge us . No Hi or Hello. There were only 4 people in the restaurant. After a few minutes of standing by the door, she finally told us to sit & find a table . We sat and she grudgingly gave us menus and threw the chopsticks on the table. I reached out for a menu she was handing out, swatted my hand with the menu and gave them to the people behind us. Sat there for 10 mins waiting for her to take our order. She just kept walking by and totally no acknowledgment at all . We got fed up and walked out. Dirty place and awful awful service.

Gopchang is here~!
Cook it all so you can eat it comfortably.
Dongchimi noodles are also better than Gilmok.
The workers are friendly, so I personally like LA tripe here.

This is the most authentic kbbq I’ve had in LA. I used to live in Korea and often have a hard time finding the same flavors and genuine banchan. This place had everything I used to eat, with large portion sizes. The meat quality was great, the options were plenty, and the flavors were amazing. The price was also very reasonable. We got the combo for 30 people and it was 30/person plus tip. Service was also top notch. Really enjoyed this experience and will be back!

There's a wait right next door until dawn, so there's probably a reason why it's free. Still, it's not bad for a quick drink. I only recommend Yanggui~~ Valet parking is $5.
The tip is about $20. Most of the employees are Korean.

I ordered thinly sliced pork belly and la galbi. There is no taste in the meat.Yamnyeom ribs should at least taste like soy sauce and sugar, but they really don't taste anything... Everyone in the kitchen and the server told me to try it... They all just tilted their heads... The beef was too expensive and it was the worst.

Our guest wanted gopchang and our LA friend said this was his favourite. I was skeptical after reading the reviews but trusted my friends word more. A lot of the negative reviews were about the service….lets just say this is your traditional Korean restaurant service and most customers are Korean. If you treat the wait staff nicely they will do the same. The food was very good and the gopchang sauce was a hit.

When it comes to any sort of barbecue, sauce matters. Their garlicky sauce for the intestines is the perfect match! We ordered the intestine combo and it was good enough for two people. The combo includes one bottle of soju but we got two soda cans instead cuz we weren’t drinking. The waitress does all the cooking so you can just enjoy eating ?

Parking: 5 dollars for the valet parking

We ate together and the portion was quite large. There was soju in the combo, but I told them I didn't drink alcohol, so they replaced it with two drinks. It was good when it was cooked and served, but it was disappointing that no one paid attention to the table after that, but it was delicious :)
