Met up with six friends at The Barn Cafe for a weekend brunch. The breakfast menu isn’t huge, but they’ve got all the essentials—and everything we tried was delicious. We ordered a few dishes to share so we could sample a bit of everything: croquettes, the house salad, a couple of omelets, and the French toast. Every plate was really tasty!
The coffee was great too—I was very happy with my latte. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and the outdoor seating and decor made the whole vibe even better.
Would definitely recommend for a relaxed and satisfying brunch!

Great atmosphere ruined by coerced tip push and mediocre food & service. We noticed 15% service fee tacted on to our bill so didn't bother to pay extra tip. Then we were approached by the staff demanding tips because 15% service fee is mandatory and extra tip is expected. No wonder this place is empty compared to the next door, Anju House!

Right next door to Yellow House, Cafe The Barn is simple but thoughtfully laid out—a small coffee nook with warm lighting and a private-feeling patio. Their pour-over coffee is clean and bright, definitely not your drive-thru cup. It has a cozy vibe that nudges you to sit and read or talk quietly. Staff were friendly but not overbearing. Felt like a coffee shop that understands downtime

The food was generally good, but the servers were unfriendly. There were mosquitoes.

Visited for Father’s Day with my daughters around 4 PM—quiet and not crowded at that time. The decor was unique in a good way, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu turned out to be different from what we saw in the reviews—more of a casual Korean fusion style geared toward drinking, with bold, spicy, and salty flavors. Not ideal for a full meal, but not bad either. Prices were on the higher side, which seems common these days. I’d recommend it if you’re looking to have drinks and light bites with friends.
Went for an early dinner so the place was kind of lonely but it probably becomes more alive after office hours. Nice areas that are cozy. Food is delicious and priced moderately.
I went in for lunch at noon with my boyfriend, and the restaurant wasn’t busy or crowded. It took an hour for our food to come out because the staff had forgotten about our order. They didn’t offer any form of compensation either (which we don’t demand, but something other than a simple sorry would’ve improved our experience), which disappointed us further. I ordered the mentaiko pasta, which was basically just oil/grease, and my boyfriend ordered the kimchi and bacon pasta, which was mostly cream. It was obvious the food preparation was rushed. We regret coming here for lunch and we won’t be coming back for a very long time.

Super cute cafe, a lot of green plants, very relax and been there for a brunch, I like garlic bread with shrimps, salad also very good with especial cheese, omelette, cheese cake yummy. House coffee can refill one time, good experience.
Very nice place with good food, location and environment. Recommended.
I witnessed the Dodgers walk off win in Game 1 of the 2024 World Series. I am a simple Jewish settler taking over Koreatown one bar at a time.
