I had the Belgian waffle combo, with scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and turkey bacon. Honestly, one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Causal friendly vibe. Great service (remembering to bring the drink orders with the food, etc), and delicious food. 6 out of 5.

Such a cute hidden gem for breakfast. Very unassuming in a small center, but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was absolutely wonderful. SO welcoming & accommodating, I felt like I was eating a friend’s house. I would much rather come here than a trendy overrated spot on the west side - this is definitely my new weekend go to!

FOOD POISONING. I had some of the most ATROCIOUS food poisoning I have ever had here. I was knocked out for 30 hours and I am still recovering. I ordered the Cuban Bowl with chicken breast, rice, black beans, plantains, avocado, tomatillo sauce, onions in mojo sauce, and Pico de Gallo. It was either the mojo sauce or the chicken. Plantains were extremely sweet. Avocado was canned guacamole. Disgusting. Reported to the health department, avoid, never again.

The food didn’t visually strike me but I was completely blown away by how JUICY the chicken was in the blackened chicken sandwich. I know a lot of reviews talk about it, but it’s the kind of quality you have to experience for yourself. The sandwich overall felt very fresh and well-balanced without being too saucy, bready, or leafy. The portion was also very sizable; I saved half for lunch the next day.
It felt like a true community establishment; service was great! It also looks like it would be a great place to study or work with the outlets and nicely sized tables. The fake candles looks a little bit odd, but it was an overall cozy ambiance.

Breakfast burrito had zero salt. So unflavorful, it almost tasted sweet. So many fruit flies landing on my food even inside. Owner is aware of fly problem outside but I experienced it inside as well. Not impressed with my visit. Would love to visit again when fly problem is solved, and I will try another item too.
