We decided to visit Cafe Calle for the first time after discovering they serve Cafe de Olla and a variety of delicious options. I ordered a Cafe de Olla Latte with almond milk and a Lox and Cream Cheese toast. Upon arrival, we were informed that they could only accept cash or payments via Venmo or Zelle due to a system issue.
**Location:** The café is situated under a residential building next to the subway, tucked away in the corner. While parking can be challenging, we were fortunate to find a spot on the street, with additional parking available in a nearby lot at 33rd corner.
**Ambiance:** The coffee shop has a cozy atmosphere, offering plenty of workspace and charging ports, along with ample natural light streaming in through the windows.
**Service:** The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our experience was enjoyable and that we had everything we needed during our visit.
**Food:** The coffee was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. The Lox Toast was equally impressive, featuring cream cheese, avocado, smoked lox, an egg cooked over easy, and topped with microgreens.
Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Calle for your coffee cravings, where you can enjoy great vibes and excellent service.

Took forever to bring out a bagel, offered the lady behind me a free pastry for waiting long, then had me wait longer and offered me nothing didn’t apologize or say have a good day nothing. Definitely either racist or just inconsiderate never coming back

A pleasant neighborhood gem, and rare example of mixed-use retail succeeding.
The sidewalk trees out front really add to the site's ambiance.
There is just enough seating, and power outlets.

It’s a nice place and quite place to relax or do some work
The coffee it’s pretty good a bit on the sweet side for my taste but very tasty
I order a bagel with salmon and cream cheese with cucumber and purple onion
it was delicious I only wish it had more cucumber to offset the fish taste but over all 8/10 bagel
Inside it’s small with a few tables
Tables are clean
Restroom is very clean

We were visiting for a week near by and found this little gem. Best coffee I have ever had. We literally stopped by everyday during our week stay, sometimes even twice a day. The owner is super friendly.

Welcome to the best coffee shop in South CentralAs a coffee enthusiast I’m always looking for shops that are intentional with the product they serve, the quality, and their connection to the communityYou get all 3 at Cafe Calle. My order shifts from an ice mocha to the abuelita cold brew w/ the horchata cold foam - rarely a Spanish Latte (hot)The food and pastries are delicious. I’m a sucker for their chocolate muffin (warmed up), their chicken pita, or the turkey & cheese croissant. But the highlight of them all, in my opinion, is the chile relleno burrito ???The shop is a well decorated establishment that is rooted in pouring coffee not hate. You get the full experience by work being carried out by Diana and her staff. Her focus to serve and uplift the community is highlighted through the events they hostOverall, I’m extremely satisfied with the establishment, the service, the staff, and their purpose
Kid-friendliness: The shop has a small library that is home to various books for the community. From children’s books to social justice topics
