There’s nothing premium about their premium matcha latte
Pretty good treats and salads. The coffee wasn’t my favorite, though. It wasn’t bad it just didn’t have the boldness I’m looking for in a brew. The staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate.

Coffee was good but you can't serve macchiato in 16 ounces cup. Big no no. The place has many pastries. Expect long lines usually. There are some good sitting spots inside and outdoors.

The food: Green Tea Roti is what my friend and I came here for. It was pretty good, although it did not have that matcha flavor, which, for me, was a good thing, as I don't like matcha-flavored anything but my friend was a bit disappointed, lol.
The service: The line runs out the door and they explicitly ask people to line outside so as to avoid the inside to get too crowded, I think that's a fantastic ideas as the outside has near limitless space (this Cafe Dulce is nested inside the USC Village, so there's PLENTY of room to make a line even almost half a mile long, lol.
The atmosphere: it was ok, I did like that one column that's full of stickers, it's very hipster and fits the criteria of being part of a vibrant and active college campus such as USC.

Love the breakfast burritos here. Come here every couple of months or so. Always polite service....but I have a question. How many Edan's walk up to the to go counter and say I have an order for Edan? Why would you get ready to give me my order and then pull back and ask me my last name?
How many random people walk in and say my name is Edan and I have a pick up order for a burrito. That left an extremely bad taste in my mouth and if I had time I would have went back and asked her why she asked what my last name is. How many black guys tell you their name is Edan?
The guy who was serving me was sooo cool and nice and funny best server ever. The food was really good but he made the experience better. I didn't get to take his name I'm sorry but if u know who I'm talking about give him a raise please.btw the matcha and brick bread is fire 🔥. Thank you!

AMAZING coffee, latte is the best. Matcha is good but sweeeet! All food is very good. Favorite pastries are guava cheese and brick toast.
Watch out for peak lunch time, you can wait up to 20min+ in line just to order.

Perfect place to study always clean and quiet 👩💻🎓❤️🔥
I got the pastrami burger. It was amazing my friend got the pesto chicken sandwich and she liked her food as well. The Matcha is delicious and well-made with oat milk. I think they use pretty high grade Matcha. The salad was interesting with a pear on top but the pastrami sandwich was absolutely amazing and so flavorful Maybe I was just hungry, but it was so good. The ambience is really nice. The seats are comfortable plenty of seating areas indoor and outdoor the music is pretty interesting and the service is spot on.
