Café fig never disappoints. The pancakes are the best. My grandson loved them. I loved the eggs and veggies. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. Love the cozy atmosphere and comfy seating. It's a real oasis in dtla.
A fantastic breakfast spot—even if you’re not staying at the hotel!
My wife and I wandered in after the Emmy Awards after parties looking for a place that was still open, and Cafe Fig turned out to be a great find!
The food was delicious, the coffee hit the spot, and the pastry selection was hard to resist. Yum is an understatement.
Service was fast and friendly, and the beautifully decorated interior made the whole experience even better. A great choice for a relaxed, satisfying breakfast in LA.

Adorable hotel restaurant with a fun vibe. The detail of design was well thought out. The service was very good and the food was pretty good.

This restaurant was found right after a one-night stay at the hotel. The hotel itself had a grand and classic (중후한) feel, and the restaurant's furniture, layout, and decorations reflected the exact same atmosphere. I ordered the food without high expectations. That was my mistake! It was a case of what looks good, tastes great.
Near the entrance of the restaurant, there was complimentary brewed coffee available. Our group opted for the free coffee and only ordered the food. Everyone was extremely satisfied. If you are staying at the hotel, I highly recommend having brunch here.
One small note: there was a large, non-pre-booked group of seminar guests who came down for a meal, and it was a bit concerning to see a staff member bustling about, trying to manage everything alone.

Great establishment. Proper and professional. Great company will be back
The RibEye was only $35, but it was inedible. It was filled with thick grizzle that you could not chew threw. I spent alot of time dissecting to get to a good piece of meat. I would have preferred a smaller but higher quality piece. We love the ambience there and have even stayed at the hotel. Breakfasts are great! This was not.
A short while ago I gave a shot to this place and it was a pretty nice experience overall

Great experience with Randy the host providing excellent accommodations for our table. Food was fabulous, too. A little loud for a business breakfast but otherwise I'll definitely go there again.
I stayed at the Figueroa Hotel so having this downstairs is convenient and worth it. I visited during breakfast hours, and the ambiance was quite peaceful, which is a pleasant surprise. My waiter was prompt and attentive, and I ordered the classic breakfast. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, just as I prefer them. I got the pancakes on the side. They're really good!
This is rating is my fault- possibily Open Table's fault. I love the Figuaro hotel and was looking forward to dining there as I was attending an event at LA live. Turns out "Cafe Fig" is really just the lobby bar. Service and food were good, but it was not the experience I was expecting- requiring reservations. I should have reserved a table at there "nice" restaurant Deme. Next time!

Kris is an excellent staff member! She went above and beyond when serving us and helped us figure out our itinerary for the day before we left the restaurant.
Also get the blueberry pancakes, you won't be disappointed!!

My best friend and I had brunch at Cafe Fig prior to visiting the Grammy Museum (which is located just across the street). The food was delicious and the service was excellent. After our visit to the museum, we returned to Cafe Fig for a cocktail and a charcuterie. Very yummy, and again, excellent service!
We went to the happy hour for drinks. The choice was an easy one after we tasted the $12 coffee martini. We went back the second night to have 2 more because they were like having a dessert after a long day out sightseeing. The service was perfect and the place has a great vibe.
we had reservations but there wasn't a table reserved for us, we had to sit at the bar, which i hate, being short, my legs end up going numb. chicken strips were a bit too soft and chewy. fries were great. hotel is super cute.
Cute space, friendly service, yummy breakfast 🍳☕
