Great ambiance, food and service! Nested in DTLA - great place for celebration or intimate date.
This is a beautiful restaurant in a historic building in downtown LA and our expectations were high. We were seated for our date night promptly by the person who ended up being our server, which was great. Our server was very friendly but looked unkept, her uniform was a mess, and button-down shirt was spotted and a mess. We ordered cocktails and took in the ambiance of the restaurant, which was very nice. After some time, we ordered our cocktails and dinner simultaneously. After a short time, drinks and food began to arrive. The Salmon crudo was good as was the pasta alla checca although both were very pricey for the serving sizes provided. Then the entrees arrived, 4 scallops slightly larger than a nickel and about 2.5 ounces of filet. While I do not mind paying a good price for a meal, I thought the $60+ for the filet was outrageous as was the $40+ for the scallops, both entrees were tasteless and a complete waste of money. We were so disappointed and still hungry after our $350+ dinner that we stopped at In-N- Out on the way for a burger. Bottom line is that unfortunately, this is definitely a future NO GO and I don't think it will be around very long with the quality of the food and what they charge for it.
Chill and intimate vibe. Great spot for a date! The service was amazing, the food was tasty, the old fashioned was fire! First time here and will def be back 🙏🏾
Great experience! Staff were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Food and wine great.
Absolutely great. We had been to the rooftop bar, Bar Clara, many times and had been wanting to try the restaurant in the lobby. It was great! Great decor, ambiance, and service, creative menu; absolutely fantastic.
Great food paired with event better service and food knowledge, made this a special evening.
The restaurant is in a beautiful historic building in DTLA. The creative interpretations of classic Italian dishes were excellent, as was the waitstaff service.
Staff was really great, food was delicious and the drinks hit the spot! Already planning our next visit.

Great place
Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, Ristorante Per L'Ora delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, the ambiance is just as impressive as the food. Every dish is crafted with care—flavorful, elegant, and downright delicious. The service is equally exceptional, with staff who are warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. One of the most unique parts of the experience? You have to go through an old bank vault to get to the restroom. Trust me, it's not just a bathroom break—it's a whole vibe. Between the stunning setting, amazing food, and that unforgettable vault moment, Per L'Ora is a must-visit.
Our visit was extraordinary! The inviting ambiance and attentive staff set the perfect tone. The food was bursting with flavor. Every dish showcased the chef's passion and creativity. A must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience—we can't wait to go back!
Although our server was friendly, we had to ask for the basics like plates & if our order had been placed. The salmon crudo had some flavor but we thought we saw a hair in it. The mushroom risotto was okay but somewhat dry and more of a rice dish topped with whole mushrooms. The martinis were good, though.
Mare sure you are not seated out back in their make shift nasty outside overflow dining spot. The service was poor. I had to get up a few times to get service. Oh and I must mention the rat that we saw running across the floor. Pass on this place my friends!
