Stopping by for afternoon coffee dose and finding a space to work, Cafe 5 was great option being convenient and pretty quiet as most other guests were doing the same. Street parking option was there and despite being weekend, it's not extremely hard to find some.
They did offer some light bites to munch but I was going for drink only. Following the crowd's favorite, I opted for their Butterscotch Latte with almond milk. As it's not too busy, my coffee was ready swiftly. I loved the coffee notes, but the syrup was a tad too much that my cup of joe ended up being slightly too sweet. Otherwise, it's worth trying!

Love this coffeeshop in the Jefferson Park area! Coffee is always spot on and the pastries (when available) are delicious as well. Working there on a laptop can be hard due to the blaring sunlight and overburdened wi-fi (during peak hours) but it's a great coffeeshop overall.

Although the place is very nice and comfortable for work, the downside is that the internet quality is horrible. All my devices are normally able to connect to wifi everywhere except here. I repeat, all my devices. And on that day the staff were also having trouble with song streaming as well.
It would be great if you would consider troubleshooting and upgrading the wifi.

I hesitate to write about this place because I want to keep it the gem that it is (it's that good). It's definitely the best coffee in the area, from a latte to the cold brew cream, it's consistent and strong and super high quality. I also love the staff, they're super nice and friendly! The pastries they bring in are delish too (the cherry muffin in this WHOA). The only thing I wouldn't get again is the breakfast burrito from the case, but that's just a personal preference. I love this place dearly and am there many times a week. So glad it exists!
