I came here a few times and every single visit has been filled with amazing food and such a warm feeling of coziness. The service is amazing and so heartfelt and the food is perfect - I came here once for a date (my boyfriend and I enjoyed the pastas and pizza) and a few times for late night drinks and dessert (always the perfect amount of sweetness and such a good combo). The server always greated me with warmth and their drinks are perfect with their cake slices. This place will always be my go-to for comfort and yummy food <3

It was Italian with a Asian flare. Weird mix. Check menu before you go. Dont order the "Cobb Salad". Terrible. A few pieces of avocado and a few tomatoes. Thats it! No cheese, no meat. I would not return.

I went to Concerto with a friend for dinner today.
The host/waiter who served our table was super friendly and super witty. He was so entertaining that we laughed a lot. He was above and beyond. Made us feel absolutely comfortable, welcome, and special. He was really attentive. He was able to provide recommendations and answer the questions we had about the menu. The steak was excellent, and the carbornara pasta was delicious too. They were also promoting my favorite Caymus wine, so I’m looking forward to trying it in next time. The atmosphere was relaxing that I definitely want to come back again. Also, I tried the Latte was very good!

I called Caffe Concerto to make a reservation for a work lunch. I first spoke with Rodrigo, who was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. When I realized we both spoke Spanish, I let him know I felt more comfortable continuing the conversation in Spanish. He said “no problem” and began confirming my reservation details respectfully and professionally.

Midway through the call, another person abruptly came on the line. They introduced themselves as the manager and said, “We only speak English here.” I immediately switched back to English. However, their tone was very short and dismissive from the moment they joined the call. When I tried to clarify my reservation details, they seemed frustrated. I asked politely for their name. They refused to provide it. They then said “un momento,” placed me on hold, and the call was disconnected shortly after.

A little while later, Rodrigo personally called me back to apologize for what happened and to confirm my reservation. His professionalism, patience, and respect were greatly appreciated, and he is the reason I am still going through with my reservation.

I later learned the manager’s name is Dento. Since this individual identified themselves as the manager during the call, I believe it’s important for ownership or upper management to be aware of how this interaction was handled.

Koreatown is a multilingual, multicultural neighborhood. The concern here was not the language spoken, it was the tone, the lack of courtesy, and the refusal to provide a name when asked.

A manager sets the standard for how both guests and staff are treated, and that standard matters. I am not sure of Rodrigo’s position at Concerto but he at least provided hospitality and professionalism. I hope the leadership culture at the restaurant will reflect the same.

Looking for dinner before theater? I took a shot at closest and found this little gem! Korean Italian fusion. First, we loved the ambience eating on an enclosed patio with table top fires between all the tables. The wait staff were welcoming and happy to see us. The menu has lots of choices to fit everyone's tastes and be sure to peek at the bakery in the next room - pastries are beautiful. I ordered spaghetti a vongole. The clams were plump and juicy with a clam in every shell- always a god sign! But the juice was divine and sooo tasty, spiced a little by an Italian chili sauce. My friend ordered the octopus salad and was also very happy with how tasty her food was. Was a wonderful surprise and will always come back when I'm this side of town

Stopped by for dessert and coffee and was blown away with the service and quality of the coffee. The host/waiters were super attentive and friendly, which I find is hard to find in Ktown sometimes. It was not too crowded, with a nice outdoor section to enjoy your food and drinks (super cozy thanks to the heaters). This was my first time going since pre-covid and honestly I think it’s better than I remember. The sweet potato cake was delicious!

Delicious Italian food with a Korean twist. The Kimchi Carbonara was so good! You wouldn't think kimchi works with pasta but it does. Nice ambience, good service and walking distance from the Wiltern. My wife and I will be back, when in the neighborhood for a show at the Wiltern.

We used to come here regularly before the pandemic. Somehow since then the quality of food has dropped and interior decor seems pandemic ready. Margarita Pizza was so salty and mostly cheese without much sauce and basil. Seafood pasta was really horrible. They used squid that wasn’t fresh and crab used was so tiny … sauce tasted like the ones you get from a jar… I don’t think they are using a chef with knowledge of what Italian pasta is. I would simply get coffee and dessert if you decide to come here. Parking here is valet only and paid street parking. Free street parking after 7pm.

The ambience was absolutely delightful—cozy yet lively, with music and lighting that set the perfect mood. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and every staff member made us feel welcome. The drinks were crafted with such care and balance, each one a treat to savor. Overall, it was such an enjoyable experience that I’d be more than happy to return again and again.
