After I told him I was still finishing my meal, he just walked away. When I was done, it took another 15 minutes before he came back with the check.
Also, it’s the classic situation where Asian guests are seated in the corner of the restaurant, even though plenty of bright, sunny tables were available.

During my visit, I tried the PROPER BREAKFAST from their menu, which offered a satisfying start to the day. The spot also has a tasty selection of pastries, fresh smoothies, and coffee beverages—all ideal for a leisurely morning meal.
However, the service was a disappointment. Despite only a handful of guests at that early hour, the server was inattentive and didn’t once check on my table or offer to refill coffee or water, which took away from the overall experience. If great service is a priority, you may be let down here, but if you value good breakfast in a stylish setting and have time and budget to spare, Cabrillo can still be worth a try for the food and vibe alone..

Excessive prices, and it's not very tasty. They have bland food, without much flavor. The juices are very expensive and not worth it. They're very small and look like they're from a box. The atmosphere isn't worth it either.

Service was bad, had to wait on a table when place was practically empty and had a reservation. Waiter seemed as he didn't want to be there food took a long time to come out with no appetizers on the menu. Overall disappointed will not return and definitely do not recommend.

Arrived and was greeted by hostess were seated without delay and provided water immediately. Everything was served timely from appetizers to the mains and deserts. The food and cocktails were excellent. Only suggestion is the server might have informed us that the chicken main was 1/2 a chicken. A lot of food for 1 person. That aside this establishment is worth a dine in experience when in the DTLA area

This was a horrible experience for my wife and I. We made a reservation through OpenTable for Sunday March 23 to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. When we arrived, we were notified that the restaurant was closed on Sundays. Terrible that OpenTable let us make a reservation for a day that the restaurant is closed. They are closed every Sunday yet OpenTable still allows reservations for Sundays. Be aware! 
We had a staycation here that included breakfast. The carnitas + sweet potato hash was great and could easily be split between two people. The service here was top notch.

I've dined here numerous times and I truly love this restaurant. I was excited to go back with my girl for Valentine's Day. They overbooked tables so we finally sat down about 30-40 min after our reservation time. Not a huge deal. But then we sat at our table for 25 min without even being acknowledged. I had to ask the manger to order water and initial round of drinks. He was great. The lobster in the gnocchi dish was over cooked. The server was completely overwhelmed so we hardly even saw her. The cherry on top was that after delivering my bill, she forgot about us and thought she already ran my card. I could have walked out without paying but obviously did not. I had to hunt her down just to pay my tab. It's a bummer because the vibe was great, the DJ was awesome, but the food and the service was a major miss. Bummed

I had been eager to try this restaurant for some time, and when I saw they were offering a special Valentine's Day dinner, I took the opportunity and made a reservation for their prix-fixe four-course meal. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. My reservation was for 8:30 PM, but I wasn't seated until 8:50 PM. Once seated, it took about 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order and another 10 minutes before he explained the four-course menu and took our entrée selection. It was another 10 minutes before the first course—the salad—arrived. While the salad was enjoyable, that was where the positives ended. After 40 more minutes, we still hadn't received our second course, the appetizer. Throughout this time, our server never checked in, refilled our drinks, or even acknowledged our table. Given the lively atmosphere with music and the Valentine's Day ambiance, I hadn't initially realized just how long we had been waiting. However, nearly two hours in, with only the salad served, I had no choice but to leave due to my blood sugar levels dropping as I am diabetic. For a restaurant of this caliber, offering a set menu at a premium price, I expected far better service and efficiency. With a fixed-course meal, once service begins, dishes should be brought out in a timely manner. The long delays, lack of attention from the staff, and overall experience were incredibly disappointing. I had high hopes for this meal, but unfortunately, I left frustrated and unsatisfied.
