Cabrillo at the LA Proper Hotel makes a strong first impression with its inviting breakfast ambiance and upbeat café music. Service was bad, had to wait on a table when place was practically empty and had a reservation. Waiter seemed as he didn't want to be there food took a long time to come out with no appetizers on the menu. Overall disappointed will not return and definitely do not recommend.

Arrived and was greeted by hostess were seated without delay and provided water immediately. Everything was served timely from appetizers to the mains and deserts. The food and cocktails were excellent. Only suggestion is the server might have informed us that the chicken main was 1/2 a chicken. A lot of food for 1 person. That aside this establishment is worth a dine in experience when in the DTLA area
