i was parking in street meter. they asked me to please move the car which i didnt. they think they own the street just so that their customers can freely puck up and order without going to their parking! they were trying for me to park in parking while i wasnt their customer or the panda customer

This used to have indoor seating, no more so not much of an “atmosphere”. The combo wrap is now the melrose. The biggest difference is they don’t give the same amount of chicken in their wraps. Most of it was mayo and veggies. Did not change for the better in my opinion

I ordered a rice and a melrose wraps for dinner today. Its taste was so terrible today. There was no green cabbage inside wraps and very salty like solid salt. We threw it in the trash because it was too salty to eat. Even the smell of chicken was also strong, Did you get a new employee who made it? It was like pork chop with chicken, rice, avocado, and a few tomato slices mixed in. Please, hire good employees for your store.

This used to be my goto healthy food spot. Prices are up, in my opinion quality is down. Chicken items seem rather small. No longer have my favorite spinache soup. Vegetable soup seems more watery, light on vegetables. They have only drive by pickup. I find the staff to be perfunctory and dismissive. If you could care less about friendly service than this might be your place.

I haven't been to the California Chicken Cafe in quite some time and boy, was I in for a surprise! They no longer offer dine in eating. I asked how long this has been going on and they said since the pandemic.
News flash: It's over folks!
Clearly, the owners feel that offering dine in eating is too much of a hassle for them. Now when you get your food, you are forced to eat it on the street or in your car like some poor homeless SOB.
This is a real shame because the food was excellent as I remember and the workers were friendly enough.
The bottom line: If you are cool with this new take out only business model, you are good to go. If you want to actually sit down and eat the food you just purchased, you should look for a different establishment.
