Order through a window and got their matcha old fashioned and seasonal pumpkin cake ($2.25 each 2025). Light matcha flavored glaze on the old fashioned. Same with the pumpkin (light flavor). Average classic LA donut spot

Dang apple fritter felt like it weighed a pound. My sigar rush was unmatched this day. One of the best around!

I have yet to find a better doughnut in Los Angeles! Apple fritter is incredible, but the maple bar and horchata were god tier amazing! Now expensive doughnuts can't hold a candle

This was a disappointment, after reading so many positive reviews I only enjoyed the buttermilk donut. The Reese’s donut tasted old, and the peanut butter cups on top were stale. The Oreo “panda” donut looked cute, but the cookies were not fresh and the flavor was just as sad as it looked. If you go, I would stick with the buttermilk - everything else was a letdown.

I don’t know why but moms love this spot more than anything. Really cute donuts at reasonable prices. Parking is so so hard tho, sometimes you just gotta drive in circles while someone else orders.

It honestly pains me to write this because California Donuts used to be one of our go-to spots, but over the years, things have really gone downhill. The donuts just don’t have that same delicious, fresh taste anymore. Instead, they seemed like they’d been sitting out for hours, losing all the softness and flavor we once loved.
To make things worse, the customer service was very poor during our visit. We didn’t feel welcomed at all, and it seemed like the staff just wanted to rush us out. We also grabbed some coffee, hoping it might save the experience, but it tasted extremely burnt—as if it had been left on the warmer way too long.
Sadly, we couldn’t even finish our donuts because they were that disappointing. It’s truly disheartening to say, but this will be our last time visiting California Donuts. It’s hard to watch a place you loved lose the quality and charm that made it special.
Help the community by giving back and you will see the change in your establishment. Thank you 🤍
The worst coffee I’ve ever had. Rude and clueless staff. I asked for a proper Americano, and they gave me brown water. I politely told them it was poor quality and asked for a remake. These idiots didn’t do anything and started arguing instead. The donuts are actually pretty good, BUT the coffee is absolute garbage! The staff clearly aren’t trained to deal with customers — the service is terrible.
Best donuts in the city. Tiger tails all day
Incredible donuts and great service! They have an array of fun flavors. I highly recommend! Only downside is parking because there's only like 5 spots available
