good donuts
It honestly pains me to write this because California Donuts used to be one of our go-to spots, but over the years, things have really gone downhill. The donuts just don’t have that same delicious, fresh taste anymore. Instead, they seemed like they’d been sitting out for hours, losing all the softness and flavor we once loved.
To make things worse, the customer service was very poor during our visit. We didn’t feel welcomed at all, and it seemed like the staff just wanted to rush us out. We also grabbed some coffee, hoping it might save the experience, but it tasted extremely burnt—as if it had been left on the warmer way too long.
Sadly, we couldn’t even finish our donuts because they were that disappointing. It’s truly disheartening to say, but this will be our last time visiting California Donuts. It’s hard to watch a place you loved lose the quality and charm that made it special.
Help the community by giving back and you will see the change in your establishment. Thank you 🤍
The worst coffee I’ve ever had. Rude and clueless staff. I asked for a proper Americano, and they gave me brown water. I politely told them it was poor quality and asked for a remake. These idiots didn’t do anything and started arguing instead. The donuts are actually pretty good, BUT the coffee is absolute garbage! The staff clearly aren’t trained to deal with customers — the service is terrible.
Best donuts in the city. Tiger tails all day
Incredible donuts and great service! They have an array of fun flavors. I highly recommend! Only downside is parking because there's only like 5 spots available

Dry donuts for the taste but the flavors are unique. I personally dont prefer fondant deco on my donuts but if you’re fine with the teaste, the fondant donuts are adorable. The other pastries are not the best, the muffin was very dry too.

Great donuts with plenty of well executed fun and diverse donut designs and flavors (everything tastes very balanced and never too sweet!) But what really makes this donut shop unbeatable is the quality at a price that makes it a no brainer to come here as opposed to other shops that charge twice as much for similar treats

Best donut shop in Los Angeles. The dough is always soft and fresh. The donuts are unique with new seasonal flavors rotated. Delicious lattes. Good prices. Open 24 hours.

Small batch donuts made throughout the day at a shop open 24/7/365? Yes please! You can't go wrong with a California Donut any time of the day. The Snickers bar consists on a standard bar top with half peanuts and half chocolate chips...stuffed with a full sized Snickers bar inside! The Reeses donut is stuffed with enough peanut for the donut and a pb&j sandwich. These two donuts have never let me down in over 10 years.
