This place feels like my childhood, atmosphere is very relaxing and homely. The pupusas are all under $5 which is exactly what we came for, will be back for soup!

I love the family that owns this place. Joana is an angel and can brighten your dad with her genuine kindness and sweetness. We love the fried fish, the quesadillas and pupusas. A great place for a delicious and affordable meal.

Don’t even have pictures to share since it was so good. The owner is so sweet and kind and creates a welcoming atmosphere. I usually get the revueltas (pork, bean, cheese) papusa and have never been disappointed. To correct an earlier review, they totally take cards as of Dec 2025 so don’t even worry ab that.

The moment we walked in, we were greeted with so much warmth. I regret not catching her name, but our server was truly the sweetest. The food was delicious. We ordered the pupusas revueltas and the chicken tamales, both only $3.50 each. Unbeatable prices for such quality.

Everything was fresh. The pupusas were generously filled and paired perfectly with the curtido and salsa roja. The tamale was moist, packed with chicken, and the masa was well-seasoned.

Skip the long line across the street and support this local spot that has been serving the community for years. Places like this deserve to stay.

Everything on the menu slaps. Better than coward bagels and squirrel combined. Cheap, excellent vibes. Kind of a perfect LA restaurant.

I always loved this place it’s near my house and I went here a lot. However the people who work here tried to steal my laptop which makes me sad. I left it there at close and came back the next day and asked if they had it. She confidently said no. I came back the day after that and asked if they had it, they said no again. Then I pretended that I could track it with an AirTag (I couldn’t). Suddenly they knew exactly where it was.

In the area for the month and was craving Salvadoran food! Came across this place (the name confused me - I totally didn't realize it was a Salvadoran place) after a few less than stellar pupusas (i.e. Silver Lake farmers market). Food was delicious!!! I got the plato tipico (rice/beans, fried plantains, cheese, mantequilla, tortillas) which was amazing. I also got the horchata, which is a bit different than Mexican horchata (I like it better). Prices were very reasonable! Wish I lived permanently in this area so I could come here every week!

The food at this place is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Those pork and cheese pupusas (Revueltas for my latinos) to die for! The costumer service is nothing but the best. Love the ladies working hard behind the counter. Love you ladies and keep up the GREAT work!
