Waited 25 mins for some fries , employees weren't friendly .. They'd yell out an order # ONCE & move onto the next order .. Poorly ran

The service is so bad the girl was in the back I'm not sure if she was alone or what but waited for a while to order. The food was so bad no flavor and it just tasted like powder spice.

I drove for almost a whole hour to get food here while visiting California just to come find out they were closed for the day before the closing time. With that time and gas I was really let down.Do

This place is a hit or miss now. Use to come here pretty often and the tenders were always amazing. They never skimped out never gave small ones. The quality has went down. They’re stingy with the fries and even the chicken. I got two chicken pieces that were equivalent to one tender. Prices have only gone up which makes me wonder why skimp out on how much you give? Paying almost $20 for a meal and the amount of fries has also went down. California has always been stingy with the sauce but I’ve never really cared about it because I believed that the chicken and fries made up for it. But now they’re just stingy with everything.

Dirty Restaurant and cashier with terrible customer service. Really deserve 0 stars. Bathroom is disgusting. Lobby filthy and so were the tables. We asked another employee for a rag to clean the table and they said they don't have one. They gave us napkins. The food was ok 5/10.

Just tried California Hot Chicken for the first time, and I have mixed feelings. The hot chicken tenders and fries were crispy and flavorful, especially the tasty sauce that added a nice kick. However, the sauce was a bit too thick, making the dish feel a tad dry. The service was decent, and while the atmosphere was a bit dull and minimal, the positive flavors of the chicken and fries make it worth a visit. With a tweak to the sauce consistency, this place has the potential to be a hot spot for hot chicken lovers!

I get it. Not too many people actually enjoy the jobs they have and I shouldn't expect a good experience from a place that doesn't really care all that much about the way they present their restaurant. I didn't eat on site mostly because the inside didn't feel inviting. This may also be due to the lack of attention being paid to the customers. Everyone disappears into the back, only to pop out long enough for an order to be placed. As for the food, the chicken was actually tasty and I will go back just because of that. The fries were cold by the time they came out of the kitchen.Overall, I'm impressed by the food and wish service and atmosphere had additional thought to be inviting.

I stopped by for dinner yesterday before an event at the Shrine next door and the hot chicken I had here was tasty! The menu here is relatively straightforward between a combination of sandwiches, tenders, and loaded fries.I settled on ordering the Chicks N Chips with a heat level of 4 - extreme. It was made to order and took about 10-15 mins before it was ready. The portion was pretty big and I was surprised at the amount of fries in the box. They were crispy and hot. The chicken tenders were quite large and were crispy on the outside and had a good amount of heat. Overall, it was quite filling and a good meal. The décor inside is pretty minimal and there's a decent amount of seating inside. When I was there, the soda machine was out of order so they only had canned drinks available. Metered parking is available outside or around the campus! I'll be coming back for sure when I'm nearby if I am in the mood for some hot chicken! A good spot for sure.

The service is worse than any other other restaurant in the game right now. The food always slaps but don't let that disregard from the 45 minute wait time. As far as ambiance goes, it could be worse so I'll give it that.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came to pick up an order this past Tuesday 10/10/23 and I ask the young man is all of my order in here, he stated,"yes." Once I went home I was missing a whole order. The food is expensive and to not get a whole order is frustrating.

Everything was great! My 4th time ordering from this place via Ubereats and all 3 but 1 order went great. (The one that went bad was on my end as I couldn't handle the max level 5 heat!) I recommend heat levels 2 and 3 (mild and hot) for the Cali Plate! For those that love heat then level 4 should be good!
