So I'm on jury duty and couldn't decide where to eat. There's an under ground mall on Spring and Main. Not much to choose from but I asked someone to suggest where to eat and they said Cailifornia Pita, I'm not familiar with Mediterranean food but they had a cheese burger special and it was fresh and delicious The staff was really nice and accommodating. I will return.

A good while back I used to order from this place when I worked nearby. I found street parking, crossed the bridge and they were not as busy as other days when I pass by so ordered the lemon chicken and gyro plates and some falafel. I love their sauces. The workers were very nice. The place was cool, I forgot about the heat for a bit

Outstanding! This Restaurant exceeded my expectations with their exceptional cuisine and impeccable service. The attention to flavors, presentation, and customer satisfaction sets this restaurant apart. Don't miss the opportunity to savor the remarkable dishes they have to offer.

It's a 2.5 star place, to be honest. It's got a fast food vibe inside, which is fine. Not the main issue here. Located somewhat under city hall in the "mall", it's got most of your standard Mediterranean casual meals.I got the gyro plate, with all salad instead of the rice or fries. It took a bit longer that it should to get my food. Not a lot of meat for the price and a good amount of the meat was crispy/over cooked. Gyro meat is supposed to be juicy but this wasn't since it was cooked too long. Oddly, the plates don't come with hummus - a common side dish. The salad dressing was quite tasty and the pita was good, nothing fancy. The hot sauce was very good.Staff was friendly and helpful. Looked like they needed another person working. Overall, it's fine. I'll probably go again since it's convenient.

I stopped by here to grab lunch since I'm serving as a juror for Jury duty across the street. This place is inside Los Angeles Mall so it was convenient for me to come here. I looked at their menu inside and when I saw the Bacon Chesseburger, I knew exactly that's what I wanted. I also got fries as well and decided to eat inside of the place. They have outdoor seating but I prefer to eat inside. I came right when the lunch rush happen so it took about like 15 minutes for my burger and fries to come out. The lady who brought me my food, came with 1 cup of ketchup and 1 napkins. I thought the fries were too well done so it was more crunchy and didn't have any flavors. My burger was okay, it wasn't the best and wasn't the worst in my opinion. They give you a decent size of bacon and the meat patty was alright. If I was to come back here again, I'll probably try their kabobs or pita. After you finish your food, you can empty your plate and put it in the back corner. They have TV in here if you want to watch and dine in, they also have a decent amount of seats inside. My rating:Food: 4 star, the burger was okay but the fries were too well done for me. The ketchup didn't help the situation but it is what it is.Service: 4 star, they bring your food out to you if you dine in but you can empty your plate yourself or just leave it at the table I think. I emptied my plate at the destinated area.Atmosphere: 4 star, there a decent amount of seating inside of the place and they have a TV for you to watch to stay entertained. There also outdoor seating too but you take the risk because there are homeless people walking around Los Angeles Mall.

My husband (who is Greek, so we eat a lot of Mediterranean) and I have eaten here for years. The lemon sauce is addictive for sure- I dip the chicken and fries in it!! So good! I always get the falafel. I gave one less star because it's hit or miss... I have gotten burnt falafel on a few occasions I guess it depends on who's watching the fryer. Although, the guys have worked there for years and they are super nice. Maybe this happens when someone new is cooking, who knows. I will continue going here but it's about $40 for the two of us. I see what people are saying about the portion for the cost. The restroom is always clean and you can sit outside or inside. I will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Overpriced for what it is. If I'm gonna pay $16 for a Greek chicken salad AT LEAST let it come with hummus. Every Greek salad I've ever had has always come with hummus if pita is served. I know that for certain entrees they have a small cup of hummus, so why not this one too?I was too far away to go back and I'm sure they would have charged me for itI'm guessing that's why it came with some mayo lemon sauce ( which is awful). I'm also shocked that the salad dressing is se kind of creamy vinaigrette ( also awful). I get that inflation is screwing everybody right now, but sheesh. This was really disappointing
