I was in search of a good Chile Relleno Burrito and Google Maps suggested Calimex. I'm so glad it did! Easily one of the best I've ever had. The poblano chile was the star of the show. It was fresh and green, didn't taste heavily fried or buried underneath a ton of cheese. And the rice and beans packed a ton of flavor. Great flour tortilla too. It didn't look like the flour tortillas were homemade, but they were so fresh and delicious they could pass for homemade....
Over all a nice experience. Sharon was welcoming and provided excellent service. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and delivered the food promptly. Additionally, she was very attentive, checking on us three times during our visit. We greatly appreciate Sharon’s service.
Menudo is delicious and the hand made tortillas are so good! For menudo "to go" you must be there early! Usually after 10am most likely there will be none left! I been there and seen people leaving without menudo!
