I had not been here since they had a place on Washington by Costco.
Today I ordered a Campos Special Burrito with Chile Colorado. It was terrible, pretty disgusting to be honest. I was unlucky or they make them this way. The meet was very fatty/lardy, it was more like they took some caldo de rez meat out of a caldo and just put it in the burrito and added some sort of red sauce. Does not compare to Campos Burritos.

I usually don’t write reviews like this, but they need to revisit today’s chile colorado.

Truly authentic Mexican food. I've tried a variation of their tacos, burritos, tortas, and it's safe to say they were all delicious. The meats were tender and flavorful, plus you actually get decent portions of meat. The place is a bit lax on luxury amenities, but the food damn well makes up for it.

Worst experience today! Went in for a lunch with my family. We ordered our food. Guy at the registered was laughing at me. I asked him what was funny. He just looked at me and said nothing. He seemed like he wasn't paying attention to me. My husband ordered a carnitas Burrito NO ONION! food came around and his Burrito was filled with onion. Went to take the Burrito back, told the "cook" my husband said Burrito with no ONION! He said ok. My husband picked up the Burrito again and it seem like they didn't listen they filled it up with more onions and Cilantro. It's not like I told him in English. I spoke in spanish! Went back a 3rd time and the cook was mad. He grabbed the food and threw it in the trash. By this point my husband was over it. He just told him to refund the money. The cook was mad and was cussing in a low voice. Now this is not the way they should act towards us customers. I've been coming to this campos tacos for years. But unfortunately the new workers they have, do not have patience and are not great listeners. Sorry but I won't be coming back. Worst experience ever.

I didn't want to leave this review because I've been eating at campos for decades. Last time I ate here I found several large bones in my chicken quesadilla. Could have been a very bad day for me. Pointed it out to the staff who didn't seem to care. Asked for the manager and was put on the phone with him. He took my name and told me next time I come in I would get a meal on the house. When I came back they didn't know who I was or anything about said arrangement. Lame.
