First timer. Went somewhere between 2 and 4pm. It was not crowded and the service was excellent. Friendly and attentive. I had the Belgian waffle. It was huge and delicious! The atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely coming back again!
Have been coming here since I was in my early 20’s but since moving away from the area have been craving it. I happened to be in the area and decided to stop and satisfy my craving. Got the 2 pastrami sandwich one for me and one for the Mrs who has never been here. I also got a brisket sandwich with the Cole slaw and potato salad and don’t forget the pickles. This place is absolutely magical. It was like walking into my Jewish grandmother's house the second we got through the front door. The smells, the bakery options, and then you get the menu and there are so many options to choose from. I had to get the classics my grandma makes like matzo ball soup, a hot potato kinish, and a brisket sandwich. The matzo ball is exactly what it should be where it didn't have much just the matzo ball soup and broth, no extra stuff like...
