I heard a lot of hype around this place but it was honestly quite underwhelming. I tried the teriyaki chicken and the brocooli beef- was not super flavorful. I also had some of the orange chicken which is what they are known for. It tasted pretty good but nothing super special.

I love this place. They have great soups, and their wontons are fabulous. Actually, everything I have ordered here is delicious. My sister and I are disabled and it can be a little difficult to maneuver our walkers around the slightly crowded tables and chairs, but the lady behind the counter (who I think may be one of the owners) often comes out to move the table for us. She is just adorable. This place is the epitome of a hole-in-the-wall place that serves up fabulous food with service like you're family.

My dad remembers the original Canton Chef at Midtown. Not sure if I'd call this place special, but it is above-average for heat lamp fare. Prices are great! Skip the fried rice. Try the Lo mein, chicken wings, almond cookies, and delicious egg rolls!
