Are you still open? There is a restaurant called The Capri in Rockford, Illinois. Is that you guys?

The Capri Club has such a great ambiance & the staff are very friendly. They fill up quickly, but if you stand around the booths, you'll be lucky enough to snag a few! They're known for their spritzs, and I had a few off the menu which were good; but I prefer their selection of wine.

I've been wanting to try this spot for ages! First I kept forgetting (it's not in our neighborhood) and then we tried a few times and it was PACKED...which made me want to try it even more! So I'll start with this piece of advice: it gets REALLY crowded, so either get here very early or, if you're good with crowds, whenever! The place is a mix between old school/vintage, upscale casual and even almost a whisper of dive, but I wouldn't AT ALL classify it as that last. It was perfect...exactly what I was hoping for! The cocktails were delicious! They have a list of aperitivos (spritzes) that's divine! We tried several of these (my favorite was definitely the sour cherry), as well as an order of supplí. It was SO good! If you're looking for a great little spot with a lovely indoor and plenty of sidewalk tables, do yourself a favor and visit The Capri Club!

Lovely little bar with an old school style feel. Big booths to get cozy on a date or catch up with a small group of friends. This place gets busy quick, so come early if you want a table.Drinks are top notch -- a very proper martini. Their mezcal sour is also delicious and well-balanced. What makes this place awesome are the very friendly bartenders who greet you with a genuine smile and take care of you like a neighbor.Their food was good, but everything needed more salt. Other than that, I don't know why this gem doesn't have more 5-star reviews -- an amazing bar with everything you're looking for.

Cute lil bar. Loved the holiday decorations inside. Inside has a nice retro style and a bit cozy. A few booths and tables and bar seating inside. It fills up fast though. And it gets pretty loud in there. The front has an open window so if you're sitting near there it can be a bit chilly. They do have some tables and heaters set up outside too. It's a good spot for small groups or a cocktail date. The cocktails were tasty. My friend and I tried mezcaletti sour, coppola, and sour cherry spritz. We liked all of them. Cocktails $13-15. For food they have some small plates and pasta on the menu. I'll have to try those next time. Service was good. Friendly staff. Order at the bar. There's street parking but you may have to walk a block or two.

This place is great! Went for the Christmas vibe and they didn't disappoint!! Got there at 5:30 (they open at 5) and the place was already busy AF. On a Monday. But the bartenders handled it effortless. The drinks were top notch and the apps were delicious. Definitely get there early if you're looking to snag a table or spot at the bar cause there's no reservations. Definitely will be back!

Capri Club is a testament that a great team of professionals can take even the simplest venue, a tiny menu and a straightforward bar and transform it into a massively desirable and fun hangout spot! When we arrived at the Capri Club approx. 20 minutes before opening, we were cursing ourselves for timing our day wrong and coming to a bar so early. When we say the line of eager patrons camped outside waiting for Capri Club to open, we had to entirely reevaluate our preconceived notions about this neighborhood italian cafe/bar. Saying that this place has a loyal following of locals is an understatement. Within 30 seconds of the shutters opening, every table, booth, nook and cranny were occupied with guests, everyone hanging out as if they were at their best friends flat. The capri club team jumped into gear instantaneously, pumping out expert recommendations, cocktails and finger food to the hungry and thirsty masses. We started off by going on a journey of spritzes, following recommendations and enjoying each glass we had! We also tried some of the finger food (Supli, Arancino and the fried Bolognese) and everything was top notch!

Capri club is one of the greatest spots in LA. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there was quite a crowd. We ordered the peppermint espresso martini and the prosciutto and burrata plate. I will definitely be returning for their happy hour, which is everyday until 6 pm I believe. All of the aperitifs are $10 during happy hour, which is a great deal considering LA prices. Overall, the vibes are great and the staff is kind. Would recommend that everyone visits this establishment!

Capri Club is everything people say it is.The space is pretty small and narrow. There are tables and booths... as well as bar seating and seating out on the sidewalk in front.Music is loud. But fun. The space is dimly lit. It's got an incredible vibe. It can be hard to get a space to sit but I got one in about 10 minutes.I had a Negroni because how could I not my first time. They use a housemade vermouth and it was incredible. Magical. Order one of these.I thought the staff was fun and cool with zero attitude. Loved them.I did not have time for food but will indulge next time. Cannot wait to go back!

Place was poppin' on a Wednesday night! We arrived at 6pm hoping for chill evening cocktails, but the place was packed the moment we walked in.Def come for the cocktails. They were excellent. Each one perfectly balanced. My husband is a Negroni fan and he says they make the best he's had in LA.While the food was also excellent, I will say this is not a place to go for a fulfilling dinner, unless you want to spend $$$. The dishes are served small-plate style at around $10-15+ a pop. Don't expect a meal when you order a dish.Seating is first-come-first-served everywhere, and it's very competitive. If you don't jump on a table the moment someone gets up, you won't sit down. No table service; order drinks and food at the bar. We'll definitely be back, but probably only if we can make it right at opening for pre-dinner cocktails. I don't have the energy for packed bars anymore.

The old Capri is gone. The space was gutted down to the dirt and rebuilt. The only thing left is the front door and the marquis outside. In its place, a completely new restaurant has emerged, along with a new menu and completely new atmosphere and clientele. We had a few cocktails, which were excellent, along with various appetizer sized plates. I'm very pleased to have a decent place in the neighborhood to grab a drink. It's a classier answer to Connor's and a welcome competition to York Blvd. The new Capri Club is going to do well. I will be going back.
