Do not waste your time or money here. First off, I took my wife here for her birthday. They didn’t offer a dessert or anything. The restaurant acknowledged it was her birthday while seating us, so they knew. Made a reservation for 9pm, arrived at 8:55pm, was seated close to 10pm. The hostess told us it would be a 5 minute wait when we checked in… Our server started out great and comped us an appetizer due to our long wait. But then forgot to bring our wine until we asked twice and had already finished half of our entrees. When our entrees arrived, we had no silverware. It took someone over 5 minutes to bring some while our food just sat there. The $60 petite fillet my wife ordered came charred/burnt outside and medium inside as opposed to the medium rare she ordered. It was also slightly dry and the edges were chewy. My wife could have cooked a better fillet. After explaining all of this to the server he bought us our check with no apologies. Will never come back or recommend.

My cousin and I came here on a Friday evening around 6:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away with no reservation. The vibe was beautiful from the moment we walked in. The lighting was cute, there was a pool in the center of the space, and everyone was dressed up which added to the atmosphere without feeling too formal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the start with lots of smiles and easy conversation. Our waiter was incredibly kind and genuine. The only issue was that he forgot to put in our order the first time so he had to come back and take it again. When the food came out he forgot a few things but he seemed a bit overwhelmed so maybe it was just a busy night. The food came out very fast and it was absolutely amazing. Everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The menu had so many good options that it honestly took me a while to decide what to get because I wanted to try everything. Overall it was a great experience. There were a few bumps in service but the overall vibe and quality of the food more than made up for it. I would definitely come back.

I had high expectations for my first visit to LA, but unfortunately, my experience at CARA was incredibly disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated, while walk-in guests who arrived after us were accommodated first.
When we were finally seated, our table was in an uncomfortably cold area. We requested the heater to be turned on, but it was either not functioning or simply ignored. No one followed up or made any effort to address our discomfort. Ultimately, we decided to leave without ordering and found a much better dining experience elsewhere.
What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the host. She was unhelpful, unfriendly, and made no effort to apologize for the inconvenience. A restaurant’s service should be just as important as its food, and in this regard, CARA fell far short.
I truly regret visiting this restaurant and would not return. For anyone looking for a place that values its customers, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Had a fantastic dinner here! We ordered the black truffle pappardelle, pan-roasted salmon, and the charcoal-grilled organic maitake mushrooms—everything was absolutely delicious. The truffle pappardelle was rich and perfectly cooked, and the salmon had a beautiful sear with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It came with a spicy side sauce that really elevated the flavors and brought the whole dish together.
I also had The Extended Stay cocktail, which was light, floral, and refreshing with just the right balance of citrus and sweetness.
The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. You can tell they really care about the details here. Will definitely be back!
