Carla Cafe is one of the best breakfast spots in town and a cute try spot in LA. The atmosphere is amazing, though it feels more like a to-go atmosphere with potential to be cute; it is a spot not for hanging or working as there is no wifi or outlets. The food never disappoints and is fresh and hot. For breakfast, the French toast is the real star of the show—thin, crispy, egg-y, and buttery. The French toast sticks are to die for. The breakfast burrito is incredible, and the Korean breakfast burrito is also incredible and freaking delicious. The Korean beef burrito is delicious. Other notable items include the chicken Caesar wrap, which cannot be replicated, the open-faced tuna sandwich bites which are so good, the matcha cream top, and the salted vanilla latte which is so good. The avocado toast is fine, super garlicky and lemon, with an interesting focaccia bread twist, but very tiny. All the sauces are made in-house and are so good. Service is fast, and the workers are very nice and friendly. There is a customer bathroom that is cute. Some find prices a bit high for the size, but the experience is great overall.
