This place is a gem! The food is always delicious, everything is prepared super quickly, and the custom latte art is out of this world. Seriously — the designs are so cute and detailed, they make my day every time. I’m obsessed! Highly recommend if you love great taste and a touch of creativity in your coffee.

We've been coming to Carrera for a long time now. We come with the family and always enjoy the warm hospitality, great espresso and energy. I always try something new and this time I had the strawberry infused matcha latte. It is absolutely divine!

Shut down by the LA Health Department for multiple violations including VERMIN INFESTATION! Customer service is terrible here and the owner is not a good person. Do not support business with infestations and rude staff. Shut them down!

I used to love this place. Great vibe. Superb coffee. Tasty food & a friendly and welcoming staff.
This all changed when I was in recently and asked if they were ready for Pride. “Our owners won’t allow us to put up a pride flag.” I was told. I asked why, since given the location that most of their customers see the flag not only as a sign of empowerment but also safety. “The owners don’t want to look like they’re choosing sides.” was the employee’s response.
Unbelievable. Especially in our current political climate & in this specific neighborhood.
This business is supported by an overwhelming LGBTQ+ community and in return it chooses to turn a blind eye to that community and the hate, bigotry and erasure they’re facing in America right now.
This is cowardice on such an appalling level that I choose not to support it & neither should you.
Because those who choose to not take a side will always end up on the wrong side of history.
My advice is find yourself another cafe that serves great coffee and food and isn’t afraid or ashamed to show that they stand with their brothers & sisters in the LGBTQ+ community.

Coffee tastes like water. I ordered cappuccino and it was not even close. You’d think for this amount of money they’d figure it out 🤷🏻♀️
Avo toast was okay but definitely not “loaded” as they claim it is.
Owners of this place should go to Blue bottle, Ideology coffee or dialog cafe and try how coffee & avo toast should really taste before selling this.

Cozy cafe right near Paul Smith's fine store on Melrose. We had a good coffee and an almond croissant, but if you're hungry, there were also salads and sandwiches that looked really good.
