Duck confit was amazing. I have been thinking about their octopus since the last time I went a year or so ago - and it was even better this time. All of it!!

Every visit to Cento feels like coming home. The host has a way of making you feel instantly welcomed, remembered, and completely taken care of // and somehow the food and service are never compromised. Perfection, every single time. The team is truly exceptional // intuitive, generous, and deeply thoughtful // curating an incredible experience for neighboring regulars like us as well as first-timers discovering Cento for the first time. From the visual beauty of the space to the culinary spectacle on the plate, it's always memorable, always special, and always done with heart.

Probably the best pasta I've ever had in LA. Quintessential LA spot (in the best way). This place embodies LA energy with impeccable food flavor profiles. It's just that damn good. Unassuming from the outside, not pretentious or overdone, which allows the food to shine. 12/10 Don't miss the squid ink pasta whatever you do.

Best pasta I've had in a long time. The spicy pomadoro had perfect amount of kick and creaminess, didn't need meat at all! Don't sleep on dessert, especially the banana tiramisu

The mussels are not fresh.
The sweet corn pasta is good but the portion is small.
Penned cotta tastes like soap.. Pretty terrible.

What a gem to the Adams District! The server was great, never pushy, allowed us time to just be and have a wonderful dinner. The food was amazing -the flavors were great and the servings were truly for sharing. We had a party of three and each dish comfortably fed each of us. The best part of the meal was dessert. The banna pudding tiramisu was AMAZING, highly recommend you do not leave the restaurant without trying it. Thank you to the team at Cento Pasta Bar - job well done.

Great food for the price. service, particularly the bussers, can be a bit rude when busy (aggressively taking plates away, bumping you, scraping food off the table onto your lap, etc.)

Short version: don’t waste your time here, the food is disappointing (portions are skewed, everything is spicy) and the service is awful (rude waitress); the prices are not proportional to the amount of food that you’re getting

Excited about trying a new place, we ordered 3 appetizers, 3 pastas, and 1 dessert. 2 of the desserts on the menu were not available and there were no specials on that night. Rather than a friendly welcome from our waitress, it seemed like we were being rushed and our waitress was more interested in taking our menus away to serve the next table.

The appetizers were good and a pretty good portion size. However, the pastas were subpar. The squid ink pasta was extremely spicy, while the “spicy” pomodoro was not spicy at all. The pomodoro sauce was very creamy and thick. The bolognese was the most disappointing. The portion was half the size of the other pastas and creamy for some reason. The $16 panna cotta was small as well.

After asking our waitress about the size of the bolognese, their response was: “that’s the way that it is.” They were unapologetic and didn’t seem to care about our frustration.

If you are looking for a place to eat in LA, this should be in the list of places that you shouldn’t go.

Pasta and lamb were delicious. Service and atmosphere were great. The raw bar next door is also very cool.

The food is delicious, a bit pricey but the pastas are really good which we came for. The desserts are okay.
We decided to rate 3 stars because of 3 things:
- The portion of the bolognese, very small for someone with an appetite.
- The service was a bit rushed, we felt pushed to eat quickly and leave the spot for someone else or simply the waiters wanted to wrap their day as fast as possible.
- But what really tainted the experience was the music. We sat at the bar, which we love, but the blasting house/techno music style ruined the atmosphere. We couldn’t hear ourselves and it didn’t match the food at all. It might be intentional for the cooking crew in the pit but not cool for the customers around.

I’ll be honest, the pasta isn’t anything to write home about. But the venue is gorgeous and makes a great date spot. The presentation and ambiance are definitely Instagram worthy if that’s your thing. (You’re in LA after-all right?)

Overall, a solid place just go more for the vibe than the food.

Cento Pasta Bar is an acclaimed modern fusion Italian restaurant in Hollywood.

The space is ultra hip built around an open kitchen concept. Clean lines and lighting. The vibe is high here.

The service is superb. Attentive. Professional. And fun!

The food was mind blowing. Fresh ingredients. Plates bursting with flavor.

This is a top notch stop for anyone seeking creative Italian dishes with flair.
