A wonderful neighborhood gem and nexus for the community. Fun happy hour snacks and refreshments and good unfussy food, nice service. Extended variety of food, including breasted chicken, pastas, pizza, appetizers, deserts. There are two bar areas too to catch games.

I have been coming to Charlie's Trio since at least 2011, and have always coined this my favorite neighborhood bar! Delicious food, close to home, and I always run into friends. However, I found myself checking to see who's bartending for the last couple of visits because whenever Juanito is working, I will usually choose to go elsewhere. He ALWAYS has an attitude and ego towards me to the point I feel uncomfortable asking him for a drink. I have bartended for the past 8 years, and have been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years; I know customer service and he does not have it. He treats me differently than Hispanic guests, including my best friend. Anyway, this last visit I guess was my last because my friend and I went in for a nightcap to celebrate my new job! We each had two drinks, and it affected her very intensely, but it was closing time anyway so I helped her out, and drove her home. But as we were leaving, Juanito was standing outside talking badly about my friend because she clearly had a little too much, when I stuck up for both her and myself, he 86'd us...OUTSIDE OF THE RESTAURANT. Honestly, I could care less because he was always so rude to me but I will miss the delicious food. I really hope management sees this and know exactly what's happening in that bar. I understand as a fellow bartender your job is to keep people relatively safe, but talking crap about and to the guests is beyond unprofessional and drives people away. Good luck!

Perfect weeknight visit! Can get a personal pizza and the mac, calamari & cheese for happy hour that are solid. Not the healthiest choice so we probably will go like once a month.

Pizza is the best food on their menu hands down the crispyness the sauce onions and pepperoni are a flavorful combination I strongly recommend you try it at least once in your life the price is worth every penny the staff are always ready to help and the cooks know their job well

We were very delighted the first day we tried the broasted chicken… I came back the next day and ordered 4 lunch boxes for my crew and I and the chicken was NOT as fresh as the day before. It was dry and not moist and juicy like the first time. It was either over cooked or old! I had also sent my other guys there the same day, they dined in as I was ordering to go. They were very disappointed as well and had returned everything they ordered as they were NOT happy with the flavor of anything they ordered, except the cheese sticks and the cheesecakes I sent to their table before I left with my to go order! I had also ordered a blueberry cheesecake to go and was given strawberry, which was good both times but I was really looking forward to tasting the blueberry! Not sure if there was a different cooks each day, but whatever happened I hope this review gets it corrected… this was all this past weekend Saturday 6/7 and Sunday 6/8!!

Server Julianne seemed completely uninterested in serving us, too busy gossiping with coworkers to bother taking our order promptly or checking in on us. Felt like we were invisible. If you're going to spend more time chatting with your friends than doing your job, maybe you're not cut out for service. Add a snooty attitude worked into the 3 times total she visited our table. Left a sour taste in my mouth.
