The staff was great to work with very personable. The view from the penthouse area is fantastic up inexpensive parking right next-door. Old school charm right in the middle of LA old school modernized.
I've never been a fan of downtown LA, but had to be there for an event. Checkers was a great surprise. Fun hotel, very comfortable rooms, great staff, and things to do around the hotel. Rather convenient to many options for food and fun.

Love this hotel, even though they don't have some amenities. Room, a little small. Bed comfortable, but towels a little thin for a Hilton garden. Staff friendly. Breakfast every morning to use up our credit. Lady at bar was good with our drinks. Our room was clean.
