I love the very affordable cheesecake which always serves as a good gift/celebration for occasions! And the owner was so sweet, helping me out even though I went just before closing and giving me an extra small gift for my friend's bday :) highly recommend!

I crave this taiwanese style fluffy sponge cake with whipped cream inside once every other month. The cake is so light but can be dry if consumed too much at one time. The whipped cream is the resolution for it! Lightly sweet and goes so well with the cake. Love their cheesecake too

The ultimate fluffy and soft castella restaurant! The price is reasonable for special occasions and it comes well packaged, so it's good to give as a gift at any time. I also recommend the Japanese-style cheesecake (sweet cream cheese flavor) and the Tokyo Roll roll cake, which has rich milk cream and is very delicious. This is the most delicious Asian bread castella place & Japanese style Tokyo Roll Cake (so creamy and fresh) & Asian style cheesecake in LA (mild sweetness & delicious) perfect to gift / to definitely worth trying to indulge every week or so or on special occasions .No preservatives, so it’s best to enjoy right away or put in fridge & eat them by next day of purchase.Castellas are more soft bread like Taiwanese or Japanese Castella カステラ vs. the cheesecake is similar to Japanese style, the cakes are so soft almost creamy. Both are really, really delicious!!If you’re a fan of Asian bread or Korean / Japanese bakery, this is a MUST TRY PLACE. (Highly recommend all the cheesecakes and Chocotella / creamtella if it’s your first time)Certain special menus like Ube Cheesecake, Greentea Castella are only available on certain days (or even other menus can run out pretty fast), you can give a call or just check & order from Doordash or Grubhub. It's a good size for 2 or 3 people to share, so I often share it with a cup of coffee. Not only the Castella Chocotella and Creamtella but also the cheesecake is really delicious (both tastes you can't give up) I highly recommend this place!!They make their own drinks like milk tea, coffee, and Thai tea, and they are really delicious! Milk teas, DaBang Coffee (sweet Iced coffee similar to Vietnamese coffee) are sold in big bottles as well, drink menus made fresh daily as well as the breads and cakes.Thank you for always making quality bread and for staying open during the pandemic.

I really wanted to like this spot but unfortunately the castella was dry and rather tasteless. They were out of the chocolate flavor, so the cashier recommended the original one in lieu of it. Whipped cream can be purchased for an additional price. Drinks are available for sale as well. It’s located inside a food court of the mall and free parking in the garage is available. Plenty of indoor tables inside. The portion size is large and could feed 3-4 people. Credit cards are accepted. There is a public restroom available next to the counter. You pay first and then receive your order.

Good castella (square/rectangular sponge cake) to eat with some bitter tea. My preference is black tea (either hot or iced).

Extremely disappointed. Loved the first time while visiting socal but it's been a disappointment every time. Made it a point to pick some up those time and quality isn't there. As a baker I can tell you your oven temperature is out of what and you may be losing seal/temp-+Top layer is just dry and bottom dense. In other words it didn't bake evenly through. Bought 2 this time both are bad with one worse. I so want to like y'all and I so want my money back.

Ok so Cheesestella, the self-titled menu option, has a layer of American cheese. I was not prepared.

I love love love this place. It’s such a perfect treat for anytime - birthdays, anniversaries, friendsgivings, break up consolations, anything goes! I can’t in good conscience recommend doing this but if you end up eating an entire one, you won’t feel as awful like if you had eaten an entire cheesecake. These are so light and fluffy! The chocolate isn’t too overly sweet and the castella are just divine.

Absolute must go if you love soft and jiggly castella cake! We got a Creamtella, which is essentially castella cake with whipped cream filling, and it was delightful! The cake is super soft and jiggly and the cream was light and sweet - a perfect combination. If you're feeling like something a little more salty, definitely try the Cheesetella. It's essentially the castella cake with slices of cheese in it - sounds weird, but tastes oddly delicious.
