Chef Josette is AMAZING AND KIND!! I called in a birthday cake order to he delivered to my dad and his twin brother. Chef Josette took care of everything and delivered the most beautiful cake along with a few Easter cookies. My dad was thrilled and said it tasted as good as it looked! Thank you so much and I can't wait to vivisection your bakery from Kansas when I visit!

I used to visit this location a lot as a kid since I lived around the block and I remember their pastries being delicious! However, I was around the area and decided to stop by and grab some of my favorite treats. To my surprise, nothing tasted like it used to. The cookies tasted stale and the cakes were overly sweet. Also, the employees seemed miserable, I felt like I bothered them with my presence. After not being there for so many years that's something you don't expect. I wouldn't come back, it's sad to see that this place went downhill! Also, the prices are ridiculously high for the quality!

This place saved my daughters 17th birthday! I was down to the last couple days and didn't know where to celebrate my daughters 17th. I drove by and saw a sign that said have your next party with us, so I popped in! I spoke with the owner-a French chef named Josette, who was so good to me! She helped me plan a brunch for 20 guest and made my daughters request of a strawberries & cream cake! Side note: The ham & cheese quiche was DIVINE!! Thank you Chef Josette for making our celebration so special and all for a much more reasonable price! Xoxo

Disappointing Experience at Chef Josette's Restaurant: I recently dined at Chef Josette's restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I entered, I was met with unwelcoming behavior and an overall lack of hospitality. Chef Josette herself came across as quite mean and dismissive. When I asked questions about the food, she seemed secretive and unwilling to provide any information about the dishes. This lack of transparency left me feeling frustrated and uninformed about what I was ordering. Chef Josette's treatment of her staff is abhorrent; she belittles and demeans them, treating them as though they are incompetent and unintelligent. She constantly criticizes their work in front of others, never offering constructive feedback, and berates them in French for even the smallest mistakes. Josette's management style fosters a toxic work environment, where morale is low, and turnover is high. Her behavior not only damages the self-esteem of her staff but also undermines their ability to perform their jobs effectively. Furthermore, I was disappointed to see that the sidewalk outside the restaurant was not ADA compliant, making it difficult for individuals with disabilities to access the establishment. This lack of accessibility is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the restaurant's commitment to inclusivity. Overall, Chef Josette's attempts to play off her rudeness with humor fell flat. Her demeanor was as distempered as the food she served. I would not recommend dining at this establishment, as the negative experience and ambiance overshadowed any potential culinary delights.

My Aunt and Uncle brought us here for breakfast. Food was delicious! They have a nice selection of pastries and some cheeses also. Chef Josette and her staff are wonderful and make you feel at home. Just an FYI, the restaurant closes early.

I called to ask questions about their pastries today and the employees seemed very impatient and annoyed. I was cut off multiple times with the response that they couldn't answer my questions bc the owner was out of the country. I love this bakery but not enough to be talked to like that. It's not what you say, it's how you say it.

I come here for every event/occasion for over 5 years now. The quality the service is superb!!!! Love the cafe. Recently had all my pastries for my daughter's first birthday that was Parisian themed and everyone raved about le petit fours. Thank you Josette

As a package, I did not think the facility (ambiance etc) warranted the prices which bordered on a premium. The baked goods in which I had were satisfactory. It appears to be a bakery that later branched to a restaurant although I don't know the back story. Operationally/service - they were off point. I think with a few tweeks, this would be a far nicer and sought after establishment.

I love there lox sandwiches, completely delicious. I also got a few pastries, and they are to die for. They were fresh and flavourful! I would definitely recommend this cozy bakery. You could say it's a little pricey, but I believe it's worth the price for the quality of food they provide.

The two stars are for the quality and taste of the food (it's delicious) but it's completely overshadowed by the disrespectful, condescending, demeaning and outright rude customer service displayed by Chef Josette herself and her assistant. We have come a few times over the years and each time I am reminded of why I have stopped coming here. Once for an in-person breakfast (pre-pandemic) we felt rushed and our food was brought out very late even though there was only one other group in attendance. In another visit my sister purchased a full breakfast for four online and upon arrival at the specified time for pick-up was instructed to wait an additional 30 minutes because it was not ready. When the food was being rung up Chef Josette had the audacity to demand a tip after payment was completed. Upon my last interaction on Thanksgiving holiday I decided I would never return. I called in to verify their hours and was not even given the chance to speak let alone breathe when a woman on the other line immediately said they were closed and I could not make out a single word after that and they hung up.
