Visiting from Seattle and I can't tell you how saddened I am to not have a location near me! Everything my friends and I ordered was AMAZING and...it was even take out! I can't imagine the fresh, deliciousness that would roam around our palates if we had it fresh. It's a definite MUST in Cali!
I feel lucky to have three Chef Kang restaurants in my area - this one, the fine Korean food restaurant on 6th and Western and Salmon Talk. This restaurant sells some great Korean food but most of it is too spicy for me. Nevertheless it's good food. I've come to Chef Kang's a few times with my girlfriend, but I always end up getting the Army Stew. No other Korean restaurant in Ktown makes Army Stew like Chef Kang does. It literally warms my soul when I eat this.I've also tried their chicken wings and tteokboki and I would highly recommend both.They have indoor and outdoor dining as well as valet parking in the back. I would recommend trying to find street parking first since parking is free after 6pm.
