The short ribs, spinach, collard greens, black eye peas,candy yams, and mashed potatoes was Bang'n!! I good the smothered porkchop as well but haven't tried it yet.

I had to leave a review after being meeting Tamika (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She has a humorous personality and provided exceptional customer service! I wasn’t having the best day and on top of that I was hungry. Glad I stopped by because I ended leaving feeling much better. And I almost forgot to mention, the food is delicious!

Tamea had great customer service. She was the only one serving food and didn’t spectacularly. She recognized her Kings and Queens and called everyone as such. Portions were great and service was even better.

I purchased lunch and dinner for $82.00 dollars and had it delivered. I received only a few items that I purchased.

It amazed me that this restaurant could be so incompetent to send at best 20% of my order.

The food items looked nothing like what I saw on the website.

The fish and chicken wings pieces were super small, and they slopped all the sides in 1 container. It was a mess.

I called Chef Marilyn, and when I explained the situation, the lady who answered the phone was dismissive and had a major attitude.

She said she'd give me a refund and hanged up the phone.

I canceled through Door Dash. I will never patronize this restaurant again.

They have the best meatloaf I've been able to find in Los Angeles.
They have a turkey version as well.
Everything is up front buffet style.

I love this place! The staff is wonderful and the food was great. I recommend the excellent mac and cheese and the greens. Of course, the fried chicken looked really good, but my mom recommends the catfish.

Been coming to this community spot all my life! Bringing quality southern food for the low to the community. Chef Marilyn blesses the Crenshaw community with her food and presence.

I ordered the turkey breast with greens and macaroni and cheese. Macaroni and cheese was excellent The entire meal was seasoned just right would definitely recommend checking it out if you like Southern cooking or soul food. The owner was saying that she might be losing her lease and relocating I hope not The only downside to me is there's little to no parking in the area but otherwise it's worth the wait.

If you haven't had Soul Food and want to have a good experience, this is the spot for you. Some of the better MacNCheese you'll have in LA. It's actually seasoned and not just bland cheese. I've been here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. I recommend their Smothered chicken, their Greens are pretty solid, yams are definitely a must and their fried chicken always slaps. If you feelin fancy try their Oxtails. Tender and so flavorful.

Give it a shot. If you don't like it. You must not like Seasoned food. Keep those bland tastebuds at home and north of Pico.

I had a great breakfast, they give great portions. I ordered Beef Brisket, Meatloaf, Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, Cornbread, Candied Yams, and a Pecan Pie. Everything was delicious. I recommend you stop by when you can.
