Everything was fine until the end that the rude waiter that was not even serving our table came and said the gratuity that we paid stays with the owner and demanded for more and after we paid more she said pay for all of us.

During our visit to LA we did extensive research to go to an authentic Persian Restaurant and we found Chell Sotoon. Having tried Persian spots in several major cities in US and Canada, Chell Sotoon is among my top Persian dining experiences. The restaurant is clean and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to their friendly host, Jay. We tried chicken kabob and beef kobideh both of which were very tender and my entire family enjoyed. We will be coming again on our next visit to LA.The space is family friendly with lots of space for a big groups and events. Also the space is big enough for little ones to roam. Please note it's located on the second floor and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible via elevator.

Chell Sotoon is a hidden gem for Persian cuisine. The food is incredibly authentic and fresh. We had the chicken keba, beef, or their spinach beef stew. Even my child enjoyed the meal. The restaurant is clean, and what makes it even better is the warm and friendly host, Jay. We had their fantastic Torshi pickles, and the dill bean rice was simply amazing. Jay's welcoming hospitality adds that extra touch to a great dining experience.

Our kabobs, salmon and lamb, were overcooked and under seasoned. Eggplant appetizer was just ok. Overall meh. We've had much better.
