Amazing vegetarian chop suey. Lunch special comes with tea, rice and rolls and chips. Very friendly service. Old school Chinese decor. Reasonable prices.
We ordered takeout from Cheng Du and every single thing was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Some of the best Chinese food I've had on the west side. We got:Hot and sour soup, vegetable fried rice, moo shu pork, hot eggplant a la chung king (my favorite!), Spicy dried string beans, hot spice shrimp with tangerine sauce.
after spending 90 dollars of mediocre chinese food I found this is my food…. seems like a cigarette head or trash not sure but this is so disgusting.
The food is expensive and it is mediocre. There was a piece of trash inside beef broccoli, which appears to be a cigarette bud! This is so unsanitary and disgusting. Do not eat at this place!
My favorite restaurant at all time??
Good food and great prices and beautiful customer service.
Hot tea looked like it had mold floating in it silverware was dirty overall not a good experience would not recommend eating here.
Great food and prices.
Service was exceptional. The food here is absolutely delicious.Very happy that we decided to stop.
Food is really good here freshly cooked and not sitting out under some heat lights it's a must try if you like Chinese food?

First time visitor for take-out...atmosphere - fine …… food - great …… Clarabel (sp) - outstanding!!
Ordered 7 dishes with white rice and egg rolls. We will not buy food from this location again. The fried noodle dish smelled and tasted rotten. Tangerine chicken was just okay. The other dishes were all bland and the tenderized meat was chewey. Only the egg rolls and white rice tasted decent.I wish restaurants had to post their health department rating online. We had already called in the order and arrived at the restaurant when I saw that Cheng Du has a B rating in the window as of July 9th, 2021. I had to go back into the kitchen to find someone to help us, and it was filthy. We should have cancelled the order and left...
We went to pick up on a Friday night at 7pm and there was only one customer in the whole restaurant, which should have been a clue. Maybe we got the cook on an off night but everything we got tasted the same except for the tangerine chicken which was mostly breading. The 2 pork dishes had a bad meat smell. 3 of us got sick.
Loved this Chinese restaurant. Have been going there for 20 years. We used their food for our wedding and people loved. The best and healthy Chinese food in town. Reasonable price yummy food excellent experience every time really friendly Tom is the best guy working there for long time he will take really good care of you!
The staff was very cordial attentive. The food was tasty and a nice size portion.
