They don't make pancakes or french toast. Just a sandwich place. Not much to choose from. Dimly lit.
Vegan options are delicious!! Ask for vegan mayo!!! I had the veggie turkey with vegan mayonnaise, went back the next day!!!
The people at the Kawada Hotel recommended this wonderful diner. I walked in and fell in love with the place. I'm not a fancy person, but I may as well have been eating at a Michellin Stared restaurant. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly. I love ❤️ a good diner for breakfast. If I were to recommend something, it would be to have something other than plastic silverware. Bring the kids...
Right through the door Amir greeted us. His customer service is beyond words. Definitely respectful, attentive and you can tell he is very passionate about his cafe. The food was delicious. I got the salmon bagel and the Matcha is unbelievably amazing. The calm, content vibe is perfect for an early morning coffee. My first time here and I would be coming back
Great food....love the Pizza 🍕 and wonderful staff!
this place is absolutely phenomenal!! i sent my boyfriend here because i saw the stellar reviews, and then i got the privilege of coming here a couple days later and everything we had was simply superb. not only that, but amir’s hospitality was so kind 🥹 the italian on ciabatta was one of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had the privilege of trying!! if you’re on jury duty around the area i would absolutely suggest this to be a must try ☺️
The smoked salmon bagel was out of this world tasty!
The Greek Cobb Salad sandwich on ciabatta was amazingly delicious. The croissants were handmade and very tasty as well. Would return next time we are in town!
I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so positive I had to share. The breakfast was exceptional – the coffee was rich and flavorful, and the food was cooked to perfection. It was the ideal portion size, leaving me feeling satisfied but not overly full. I enjoyed it so much that I returned the following day! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location is easy to find. My wife also raved about her meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.
This charming café, owned by the kindest and most welcoming man, Amir, is a true hidden gem in downtown Los Angeles. Originally from Iran, Amir personally greets guests at the front, ensuring every customer feels right at home. His staff is efficient and attentive, delivering exceptional service with a smile.
The food? Absolutely exquisite. I had the chicken pesto panini paired with freshly squeezed orange juice—hands down the best panini of its kind I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed a spinach omelet with two lattes, both prepared to perfection. We loved it so much that we returned the very next day to explore more of the menu. This time, I tried the avocado sandwich while my husband went for the turkey omelet—both equally delicious.
Amir took the time to stop by and chat with us, and our conversation was as enjoyable as the meal. He’s a down-to-earth, humble man who treats his employees like family, and it’s clear he’s well-loved by the community. The café, located near the courthouse, is a favorite among local office staff, many of whom know Amir by name.
The combination of a warm atmosphere, outstanding food, and top-notch service makes this spot a must-visit for breakfast or lunch. If you’re in the downtown LA area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you’ll thank me later!

They have a cold wasabi tuna sandwich and a plain tuna melt. I asked them to make me a wasabi tuna melt with Dijon mustard instead of mayo.
Perhaps the best tuna sandwich or tuna melt I’ve ever had.
The owner is super nice and eager to make your experience great.
Looking forward to trying more items from the menu.
Such a great shop. The sandwich was one of the beat I've ever had - award-worthy. The staff super nice. All very clean. Go there!!!!!
Never disappoints. Awesome staff
Lovely family-owned business with solid fare for big appetites. Service is friendly and welcoming. I had an Avo and Tuna ‘Picker’—their term for a sandwich—with lettuce, tomato, mayo on toasted seven grain. Very ample servings, even for the ‘regular’ size, and the owner was kind enough to offer a side of two different types of pickled peppers, jalapeño and a hot yellow pepper. Delicious. I will return if I’m ever in the area again. What a welcoming find.
I came to this cafe after seeing the reviews and this cafe is great. It has a spacious and inviting seating area and the person at the registered was super nice as well as the person making the food when they handed it to me. I will definitely be back! I had the iced latte and the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. They both were great as well! :)
