Cochinita pibil was melt in your mouth tender
Good service, good ambience for being in the food court
The steak plate was extremely delicious. Several varieties of food on the plate and all of them quite tasty. My second time eating there and I'm certainly coming back.

Someone brought me their black beans. As a pregnant woman I was pleased: no morning sickness after which is hard to find.

O my God best Mexican food in town the cadnitas were maid to perfection the service was amazing you got to try it
This place has got the plaza vibe. The music, the crowd, the mix of smells coming from different stalls… it’s got that real neighborhood feel, the kind of place where my mom, who already makes friends everywhere she goes, somehow managed to make double here before the food even arrived.
Customer service? Fantastic. People? Even better. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you belong.
Now, the food. Undeniably good. The Pollo Pibil, Poc Chuc, and Cochinita Pibil all carried that slow-cooked depth you hope for. Smoky, tangy, with those earthy citrus notes that hit just right. But then… the portions. Let’s just say, if your mom’s looking down at her plate after two bites asking, “Where’s the rest?”, you’ve officially crossed into emotional appetizer territory. Delicious, but not nearly enough to satisfy a hungry heart (or a hungry parent).
Had to whip out the wallet again just to make sure she didn’t leave hangry. So, let’s just say I wish the portions were larger (more family style).

Chichen itza was a fantastic experience. Earlier this week we tried a variety of Yucatecn dishes and found the flavors authentic and wellbalanced. The service was notably attentive, making our family dinner both comfortable and enjoyable

One word, delicious 😋 I try several meals this time and every single one had a special flavor. Although the place gets crowded, the service is fast. I love this place. I have being coming for more than 21 years, the Mercado wasn't as popular as it is now. But here the flavors of Yucatan are a total worth place to wait, drive to and bring the whole family

We drove from Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya to Chichen Itza, leaving early to beat the crowds. For a while, we had this incredible place almost to ourselves. Amazing to see such a wonder standing the test of time.
Food is actually great. Only thing is finding table since it does get very packed and some tend to stay long. Parking can be difficult to find since this plaza is super popular with the other food vendors they have as well as the famous fish restaurant

Tried chichen Itza today for the first time. Everything was good until I moved my horchata around noticed something in my drink , I initially thought it was a piece of cinnamon stick, I had a sip , and I took a closer look and it was a cockroach.
They didn't have a vegetarian option for salbutes but the papazules were good but definitely wanted salbutes with egg instead of cochinita.
