HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I contacted the manager at the local store and they said come in and will give you a new sandwich so I came into the store and I showed them the picture of the sandwich and they said I wasn't working that day so I can't help you and I'm not gonna help you and there is no phone number for corporate or a manager or anybody I had eaten here before and was very happy when it was chicken bun bun, and now that they changed macho burger their staffing is horrible. Their customer service is horrible and I will never do business here again. I came into the store and showed them the pictures and they refused to do anything about it saying they weren't working here that day so they're not going to replace my order

I looked up Macho Burger it's still under the Chic BB. Stopped by yesterday.one of my ex-coworker is here now. They still have chicken sandos . Prices are reasonable $10 The truffle burger is the top of price line. I got the black pepper cheese burger. It was large,sloppy but quite tasty. I could of easily eaten 1/2 and be ok. This kind of burger doesn't re heat well. That motivated me to finish the macho burger it clashed with my Del estrogen hormone shots. The bun didn't hold up....the fries are very good. They fry well here. They were out of chicken cartilage.... A very Asian item...

This place is really strange. It opened up as Chicken Bun Bun but it's now called Macho Burger (apparently a Chinese run chain?). Aside from the sudden name change after opening, we came during their business hours about a month ago and found it closed, without notice, a huge bummer. Came back yesterday and decided that now it was open it would be worth a shot. The inside looks good, but the actual dining tables and chairs are super cheap and not really comfortable to sit in. Decor is questionable and there is a part of the restaurant that literally looks like a chicken cage on the outside. Service was ok, they took our order and started making the food. We order 2 macho burgers and fries. Macho burgers were actually surprisingly really good. I had low expectations, but the chicken was really good. The sand which overall is super simple but could have definitely had more to it (grilled onions, tomatoes, pickles etc). The fries were not as good, super crispy, but barely any potato. They didn't have regular fries (how do you not have regular fries?!) so we got the curly fries that were not that great. Overall, weird experience and I would only recommend if you takeout for a burger.

This place makes the pinnacle of Asian styled fried chicken. The food is generously portioned, affordable, AND delicious. This will be my new favorite spot for sure.

Went here Wednesday night after work. The place was dead but we decided to try it out. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches with fries and wings. As soon as we started eating the sandwiches we had a feeling it might've been raw. Later that night we woke up puking and had horrible food poisoning that we are still recovering from 2 days later. Please be aware! Would not be trying this place again!

Walked by with my husband and decided to give it a try. I've heard good things about the fried chicken sandwich here so my husband got the spicy fried chicken sandwich and I got the popcorn chicken with cumin spice. The fried chicken sandwich was so juicy and mildly spicy, just enough spicy to enhanced the flavor. Chicken was also very crispy and juicy! Same goes with my popcorn chicken, I was actually pleasantly surprised that I probably got more chicken in my popcorn chicken compared to the chicken sandwich. Service was fast and straight forward no complaints here! There is also a self order machine by entrance which makes it a lot easier. Overall very reasonably priced and legit fried chicken that is not greasy at all! Will definitely come back for more!

Honestly very good chicken. That bird is juicer than a rear with the words “juicy” embroidered on some sweatpants.However, don’t come here hungry or you will wait awhile while they go hunt down the chicken. Pretty long wait time (30 minutes) when there was only 2 orders before us.

This place is called Macho Burger now. They changed their name from Chicken Bun Bun. Kenny took my order and he was super sweet. I ordered their original Macho Crispy Chicken sandwich with curly fries and a side of popcorn chicken. A previous reviewer had mentioned that the chicken meat looked raw since it was pink. So I asked Kenny why my chicken had a pink tone to it, and he said that it's the marinade that they use for the chicken that turns it pink colored and they only use dark meat. So don't worry, the chicken is NOT raw by any means! I'm a light weight when it comes to spice so I ordered everything mild. But the popcorn chicken was a little too spicy for my taste. Still tasty though!
Kenny served me a smile like he likes his job. Popcorn chicken $5 comes with 3 dry rubs, cumin, bbq, sechuan pepper and SEAWEED! Seaweed was my favorite. No white table cloth but comfy chairs and good music.
Completely empty when I went in, served raw chicken. Don't go here!! No rush at all in the restaurant and it was still served raw. Didn't notice until I was halfway in, would not recommend going here ever - edit: just puked, definitely have food poisoning. Don't go here

Not sure how long this place finna last. It was pretty dead inside when I went to try out a hot chicken sandwich. That being said, somehow fries were sold out! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo and substituted macaroni salad. Keep in mind any other side besides fries are extra $$$. The sandwich was alright, the spice was right, but the macaroni salad was a watery mess. On top of that the fountain drinks tasted super watered down. Overall, I personally would rather go to Popeyes if I was craving myself a hot chicken sammy at half the cost.

Spicy chicken sandwich and fries. Hot was the right amount of spice. Sandwich was delicious and a good size for the price (SaMo / West LA standards). You have to order yourself on a kiosk and serve/bus yourself too, so not sure why they ask for a tip..Takes about 15min to be prepared fresh so don't be in a hurry. Worth the wait!
