The food is peculiar but I struggled to find a common trait in the menu. I think it's a little pricey for the place and the location. But the restaurant decor is beautiful!

Cocktails are in a can, not a mixed bespoken drink in a glass. Boo. Food was average for the cost. Setting and ambiance are beautiful. The service was warm, but I wouldn’t come back for the food.
Peruvian & Taiwanese fusion? Nothing peruvian was good here. We came expecting good chifa close to what we eat in peru, but no it was nowhere close to it. Must be mostly Taiwanese. Regret wasting time and money here. Definitely never coming back. Alfajores were the only things that we liked.

Loved the Taiwanese Peruvian fusion food here. A little pricey but everything was very solid. Would recommend every dish I had!

Service was great, but certain food items were lackluster given the descriptions and price point. Wood ear mushrooms in the wood ear mushroom cucumber salad were remarkably tasteless and the vegetarian zongzi was quite bland, even with the provided sugar. Maybe the zongzi should not be offered as a veg option, without the taiwanese sausage and duck egg. Most of the entrees came in small serving sizes. Dan dan noodles, mapo tofu, and scallop crudo were good, but not sufficiently fantastic to outweigh the fact that two recommended menu items were almost devoid of flavor. Black sesame cheesecake was good but had a somewhat processed texture, and also came in a small portion for $9.

We have eaten at Chifa several times and it is always a pleasure. The dining room is beautifully designed, the food is unique and delicious. I highly recommend the prawns (must eat with head on!!) The staff is delightful & we always have a great experience. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!

This place says it has Peruvian chifa, which is Peruvian style chinise food. Well, it did not have any chifa it had 2 or 4 Peruvian dishes, very small portions, and overpriced, not good at all . Service was bad. After we were served, I had to wave my server down for attention. Only one waitress. Lomo Saltado was one of the peruvian dishes that I liked . The anticucho was terrible ! Place is not in a good part of Eagle Rock . I will not be returning.

Chifa has been on my list for a while and it was a pretty solid experience. The interior was beautiful. For drinks, we got the chicha morado, which was a sparkling purple corn and pineapple drink. It was delicious!
We ordered the scallop crudo, lomo saltado, wok hay veggies, and the black sesame cheesecake tart. The lomo saltado was the star of the show here! The filet mignon was flavorful and soft. We got it with the aji sauce and it was a great pairing.

Chifa offers an interesting and extremely delicious fusion of Peruvian and Taiwanese food. Lomo Saltado has to be my favorite!! It’s a family run restaurant - the owner came to greet us and was very friendly and welcoming.
